My wife wanted to book the Honda city due to the large cabin and boot size because we have a baby.
But I really wanted to book this Mazda 2 due to the awesome looks (not referring to the headlamps vmad.gif ) and cool techs.

However I saw alot of bad comments/issues about the i-Stop feature.

From what i read and understand, this i-Stop feature uses a high voltage battery to stop/start the engine.
Heard that it requires to replace every 1 to 1.5 year which cost RM1500 doh.gif and requires to do a system restore/reset.

Also heard that some mazda owners have issues such as i-stop not working properly/battery not charging properly/battery drainage/cannot start car after not driving the car for 1 week..

If it really requires to change the battery that often and it cost Rm1500, i think saving a little bit of fuel is not worth it.
I understand that Mazda offers 3 years of warranty and free service, but what happens after the warranty is over?

Hope some Mazda owners can enlighten me icon_question.gif

Thanks alot!!! notworthy.gif
