205 tyres are generally used by C-segment cars (Altis, Inspira, Mazda 3, Civic etc). They are around 1,300 kg.

Mazda 2 is only 1056 (HB) and 1065 (SDN) kg. When you use 205-width tyres, you get good grip in the dry. But in the wet, it will aquaplane easily. Personally for me, I wouldn't go higher than 195-width tyres.
