Apparently need the mzD tools to read the card files.. probably can try searching from mM3 forums for answer since they have it as well.

but everyone telling me to save up and buy a house instead  sad.gif

i just started working for almost 2yrs already and i want to be able to buy my first car i can proudly say that it is mine.

but congratz to those of you who have gotten your car already the mazda 2 is really a beaut  thumbup.gif

senario 1
buy house->rent out->collect rental->buy car

senario 2
buy car->nothing you can do except impress someone you dont know at the traffic light

conclusion
DONT BUY CAR IF YOU DONT HAVE A HOUSE

rent money collected from house rental probably can barely pay the monthly installment liao. How to use that to buy car? sweat.gif
*
there's few options, search for the area have a better rental yield, sell the house when price go up, buy smaller car and loan less amount.

How much is your down payment?
I'm undecided whether to go for 9 years with min down payment or 5 years with 40k down payment.. (never mind the interest)
*
simple checklist

1. any investment of 40k can give you higher return than your hire purchase interest rate?
2. if you have home loan, you could save more than 2% on the interest if you pay it first, give more priority to repay the higher interest loan.
3. else just pay 40k for 5 years loan or less

Pre GST price is 85,470.00 (OTR Without Insurance)
Post GST price is 85,466.30 (OTR Without Insurance)

So it's RM3.7 cheaper? What the point this change

Mazda just play around with the figure and did not lower down the price, probably exchange loss of weaker ringgit into consideration

Pre GST price.
Mazda try to press down the price by reduce handling/inspection fees & number plate charges.
Actually the price without insurance for post GST is slightly cheaper than Pre GST.
it's mainly cause by GST in insurance so total price up.

Few week ago my SA told me increase 2K. Now only increase hundred ++ consider lucky.

Example: honda jazz.. march rebate 3k.

your statement is valid and you are a wise consumer, unfortunately a lot of people has been fooled by the latest reduction of the car price in the news when gst kick in.
