but this as1m only have interest for 3.5-4%? seems worthless to buy

Not sure about the interest though. However, saw advertisement in the paper today stating the returns are not guaranteed. So there is a big risk. It is just like investing in unit trust.

A staff from post office said got 1% charge for selling of the fund. Can anyone confirm this???
*
In the paper, it state fees and service charges are applicable. I believe 1% for buying and 1% for selling.

But through my crystal ball, I can see that you will be the first in line on Wednesday morning. Con or not con, there will be still a lot people buying this bond.

Agreed with the more gain than conventional FD, just still think about the capital not guaranteed/protected tongue.gif

I think the capital is guaranteed. The newspaper only stated the returns are not gauranteed.

It is a good buy for young people, who tends to invest it for long term. If you are near retirement or intent to use these money in short term, better put it in FD. The world economy is still 'shaky' with unemployment increasing in US, so there might be a correction in the world economy. Note that Malaysia's economy is export driven.

Considering how PNB invest the money, 100 million and 10 billion is nothing and will be used up easily.

Did anyone who invested consider what will happen if the government lost in the next general election? I believe that a lot of money will be transferred out into private accounts before the change of government is completed.
