300 Million Units of ASM Still Available on 2 December 2008
Based on the information from the Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PNB), there is still 300 million units available for subscribe after today, 1 December 2008 closing. That means you are still able to subscribe the Amanah Saham Malaysia (ASM) tomorrow. Roughly calculation showed that within 9 hours, 700 million units had been subscribed. If based on today subscription rate, the remaining 300 million units should be able to be fully subscribed within 4 hours. However this is just estimation, it still depends on the confidence of the people toward ASM. If you are interested on ASM but you still not have account yet, you can try to open the ASM account tomorrow. Those who intend to top up, you still able to do it tomorrow.
Less than one week, the PNB had accumulated around RM 1.5 billion ringgit with ASW 2020 and ASM funds, RM 490 million and Rm 1 billion respectively. For your information, the recent EPF loan to Value Cap is RM 5 billion.
