Regarding the 'lockup', it is not. The 3 years is the 'tenure'. The profit to investors is 5% per annum and the profit payment* is pay to the investors quarterly. So after 1 year of investment, and the investor decided to withdraw all the invested money, he still gain back the money that he/she invested plus the 5% ... which is given every quarter.

Since there is 2 series of this sukuk*, the maximum that you can invest is 50k (RM).

p/s: If you invest 40k in sukuk pertama, the max you can invest in sukuk kedua is 10k (that is what it means).

Phew...lucky for those who are top-up...cause is faster. Managed to top up mine at KL Sentral Maybank around 11.30 (after queue up for more than 2 hours) earlier. Kesian some old lady...she stand until feel like wanna pengsan. Luckily those stalls around it, they let her sit on their chair.

Then my gf who went to another Maybank branch at Sri Petaling, she told me around 10 the security guard stop giving numbers to people. So, she have to move out...and went to OUG Maybank. She told me those people almost fight with the guard...lol.
