Now just depending on eco light as rpm meter but doesnt really tell which is the sweet spot
*
After all the attempt to get good FC but still failed at 10+/- km/L, I gave up on the eco indicator and turn it off.

Now I kasi hentam jeh... But the 36PSI tyre pressure can be scary with potholes. sweat.gif

Lol bro steady!! Axia is not meant for hentam shakehead.gif ...it is a lovely affordable town car meant for steady & slow slow drive icon_idea.gif  even the tyre pressure at 36psi at a steady pace can be enjoyable & fun ok rclxms.gif
*
My area has real lots of potholes and road bumps here and there. I afraid the tyre will puncture one day if I speed through them.

But yeah, I do miss the fast cornering of my wira which isn't quite as possible on axia. sweat.gif

Have you calculate the fc manually or just depend on the meter?
*
Last time manual count roughly the same as meter.

And previous refuel a little messy so long time didn't do manual count.

Yesterday just pumped 24L of Petronas RON97 after previous fuel range remains under 20KM, wait until my next refuel then I can share with you the exact number.

P/s: I drive alone with no passenger all the time. Another point to note is I mostly (70%) drive in residential areas with tons of road humps and traffic lights.

How often does ur eco light come on? If it comes on often, the km/l shld be higher.
*
At first I tried following it at all time, the average numbers not much higher than 10 also.

As I previously suggested, when moving I had no problem for a good FC (over 14), but once it met with idling, it dropped intensively to a value around 10.

Not sure if it is a normal conditions but I realise my exhaust being exhausting gases all the time at a fast rate, even when idling (when put my feet near the exhaust, I can feel the gases puffing out at a rate of at least 2 puff per second).

I also noticed there are few water droplets in accompany the exhaust gases, but AFAIK from science, burning of hydrocarbon will release water as a product, so I not really surprised.

Today i notice got rattling sound on my front left door/dashboard. Some time its rattling but sometime got no rattling. The car is just 5 days. I drive it very careful.
*
Is it a periodical ticking/knocking sound from door?

When I just got my unit (SE) back in Nov, I realise it on my way drive it back home, LOL...

The next day, I troubleshot and narrow down that the noise came from the door (in my case it is front passenger door). And immediately I make my way to perodua SC that afternoon.

Then is some standard procedure for servicing, they ask you this and that and took over my car for fixing.

Later, they say they fixed it and is something related to the doorlock, and indeed the problem is fixed ever since then.

Yup having the same problem.

I think it is "same package" with the rusting exhaust (hook) fiasco last time. sweat.gif

On a side note, what exactly is the oil tank capacity of axia?

Cause this morning I go and pump RM50 of RON95 (price now is 1.70) with previous estimated remaining mileage on meter at 30km, the petrol start overflow b4 RM40...

No wonder I that day pump RM50 RON95 overflowing...

Lucky I have 2x 1.5L plastic bottle with me, after pump and store up with some spillage here there, it still remains RM1 unused... sweat.gif

Hey guys, axia dont have alarm isit?
*
Got, but the way it works may be alien to you.

When there's door unshut properly, you can't lock the car with the remote.

But when you lock your car with remote and later unlock with key, the alarm will sound. Starting your car will disable it.

No procedure lol, just go to the counter and the attendance automatically will give the balance, if you not take the balance they will put in their pocket.  whistling.gif
*
That's some nice thing I just learnt.

But I think it will be weird to ask them to cash out changes in some odd numbers like RM3.33 and so on.

not super jam oso, but around 10km/l only.  my friend myvi oso can get 13-14 easily with same route
*
Yup, my unit (SE) also the same, hover around 10, hardly reaching 12. But I once tried to cruise consistenly around 90km/h for half hour, can reach over 16. I think the problem is with idle, as when idle I can seriously see it dropping like no tomorrow, the fuel consumed when idle is as much as while moving, LOL.

I guess it's the variation with idle settings from one unit to another. But at least I am happy my unit don't have rough idle.

How did u use the @ my nickname? Always wanted to know..

I only installed the front bar at engine there.. there r total of 6 bars for axia if not mistaken. Some not practical such as in the boot n another at back seat.. so silly as axia is not a track car...

Why don't install front first? Rear anti roll bar is quite expensive smile.gif

Something wrong with your car or your foot too heavy? Your car consume as much as 1.6l car liaw. Here my axia average FC for 13k km.
[attachmentid=4372212]
*
Mine even worse, LOL.

In fact I think mine is the worst around here.

Drive as light foot as possible, squeezing as much as I can for a full tank, ended up only around 13.XXkm/L (manual calculate, displayed 12.xx only) at best.

Normally around 10-11.

This time I try intense acceleration and decceleration, the figure hover around 9.xx to 10.xx, never reach 11, LOL...

My meter displayed 15.xxkm/l is the worst that i ever seen.

Try set the aircon temperature to warmest posibble, increase fan speed if you feel hot. My temperature usually set at 8 to 12 clock position.
*
Seriously I even driving off aircond occasionally on road with speed under 40km/h laugh.gif

But yeah, my temperature is set at right in the middle of the knob, not sure how much is that, but it is insufficient to be cold on hot day but freezing on raining day... sweat.gif

Same here. I noticed that the exhaust is somehow working extensively even on pure idling.
