QUOTE(-ahtiang- @ Aug 19 2015, 06:35 AM) So I tried to install the Waze version for Android into my L930 following the method below and the installation was easy and flawless as what they have shown. However, I was hit by the error message "Failed to configure service" haha.. initially I managed to select which country and it was spinning on the progress icon... I tot this time can already... but then perhaps after Google taking over they put in some Google service which is mandatory so it cannot work haha.. Most likely that is the case. Most games seem to work fine though (from my reading of articles etc). But then not a big deal, the Maps app on native Windows 10 Mobile is good enough though |

Hmmm, so far so good on my 1520 @ build 10536. Left it overnight for the update.
Was slow at first, but after the first day of usage it's pretty fluid/smooth. Likes: Edge, new Outlook, action center, look and feel (ok lah) Dislikes: breaks a few apps, apps randomly won't start, whatsapp can't open camera in chat, no battery app like Win 8.1 Gonna test the new Astoria build next. |

Updated this morning. Does seem faster and snappier. Finally camera via whatsapp works. Battery life will need to see how it fares by end of today.

QUOTE(JJKTP @ Dec 5 2015, 04:59 PM) Android browser has that (open new tab in the background) by default where you can open a tab and look at it later, and I used to it already. And of course it has option to open in the foreground. Wonder why Microsoft don't give the option. Er, Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 already does that. Open link in new tab opens it in the background. Lucky I decided to go for Lumia 430 to give Windows phone a try. Otherwise I would surely regret more. For IE @ W8.1, no way to do that. Use UC browser. |

After hard resetting twice, i finally downgraded back to win8.1 and did a clean install of 10586.36. Much smoother and problem free. Takes a while but worth it.

Hmmmm actually i find Edge to be a vast improvement to ie11 on wp8.1. Lots of pages and work apps work flawlessly now. Not perfect and still with bugs, but definately a tangible improvement.
