OneNote is not in preview in Windows 10 for Phone unlike the other Office apps.

This link should lead you straight to the OneNote page on the store (Choose to open in Store (Beta) when prompted) :

RM628 Lumia 640
RM699 Lumia 735
RM699 Lumia 925
RM755 Lumia 640 XL

since all the devices above are confirmed to receive windows 10 update later, which 1 is the best to get?

640 XL - I love the screen size but I think it's just too big to put into my pocket

735 and 925 - provide better displays. Are they really look stunning compared to IPS?

640 - safe option?
*
Speaking as a previous owner of L925, I would advise you to skip the L925. In the future, you're going to find it's 16GB storage with no removable storage very limiting. And the S4 Plus CPU is getting really really old.

Before I owned the L925, I've had a L620 which had an IPS display, this is what noticed when transitioning :
IPS :
+ More accurate color production

OLED :
+ Inky black
- Color is little bit over saturated
- White colour looks yellowish

If you spend a lot of time watching movies and pictures, go for IPS. If you adore dark theme to death, go OLED.

Out of all the option, I would recommend the Lumia 640.

Hey guys, quick ques.

Btwn a 2nd hand 1520 64gb and a 2nd hand 930 32gb, both still under zitron/avaxx warranty.. around the same price range, let's say 1.2k.. which is a better deal?

The 1520 64gb kan? Hmm...
*
Technically L1520 is a better deal since it has Glance, SD card support, better battery. And on the software side, L1520 have advantages like 5 quick actions (instead of 4) and in Windows 10, it'll have 4x4 multitasking view and adjustable keyboard.

The L1520 clearly has more features than the L930. It just comes down to whether you're OK with having a giant 6 inch phone.

Also, L1520's internal storage is 32GB, but supports external SD card up to 64GB.

No news on 1520's successor e.g. 1530?
*
There's been some changes on the Lumia model naming convention. Microsoft have dropped the 1XXX naming convention for phablets (which was weird because L1020 wasn't a phablet) in favors XL suffix instead.

So instead of a Lumia 1530, it will now be called Lumia 940 XL. We've seen this with the Lumia 640 XL which is a successor to the Lumia 1320.

The Lumia 940 XL (codenamed Cityman) is rumored to have these specs :
- 5.7 inch 2560x1440 Quad HD display
- Snapdragon 810
- 3GB RAM
- 3300mAh battery (removable)
- 32 GB internal storage
- Micro SD card slot
- USB Type-C connector
- 20 MP Main camera + 5 MP Front camera
- Triple LED flash
- Iris scanner (So you can unlock the phone just by looking at it)
- Poly-carbonate body
- Supports the Continuum feature (see the front page of this thread for details)

If the rumors are true, then this is a monster of a phone and it'll probably cost a fortune. Expected release date is November (announcement will probably on September at IFA 2015)

I'm planning of doing this poll every time a new build comes so we have a clear picture on what the opinion of the people here about the new build. I'll place the link to the poll result on the front page of this thread.

So for those who've installed the Insider Preview, please vote on the poll notworthy.gif : :

Announcing Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 10512 (Fast ring)

Note :
- Some phones might spend a long time in the post update migration experience – just let the phone sit and it should complete this migration
- Insider Hub is not yet included in the new build

IMPORTANT
If you want to hard reset after installing this build, make sure your MS account has another email account on the security info (use this link to see yours : https://account.live.com/proofs/Manage). This is because two-factor authentication for your MSA with a phone number doesn’t work in this build. If you don't, you will be stuck on the first setup process.

I have chosen the slower build. Couldn't find anywhere to change unlike the pc version as far as I know.

In anycase, can someone point me the link for the best way I can do rollback to windows 8.1  ? Mine is lumia 532.

Do i get more apps if i were to update from windows 8.1 to windows 10 especially for smartphone?  I think windows is a nice platform to use but unfortunately they can never match up with android and IOS on apps.  I saw an article by installing windows 10, we can run most of the android apps.  Am i correct?
*
The feature of running Android apps in Windows 10 Mobile is codenamed Project Astoria and officially, it was meant to make it easy for Android app developer to port their Android app to the Windows 10 Mobile platform.

Basically, using this tools, all that Android app developer have to do in order to have their app on the WP App Store is submit their app's APK to the store and store will automatically make it compatible with the W10M with little to no effort from the developer required.

This feature was meant for developer use only, it was never intended to be use by the normal user. However, some users was able exploit the feature and figure out how to manually sideload Android app on Windows 10 Mobile. Unfortunately, not all Android app will work as illustrated on this spreadsheet here or here.

Window can install android app?
*
No

Microsoft did tried it with something called Project Astoria that allow WP to install and run certain Android app. Basically what it does was have an Android OS subsystem running underneath the Windows Mobile OS.

Unfortunately, that project was canceled because they couldn't make the Windows Mobile OS smooth whilst running the Android OS subsystem so they had to cut it out.
