is new orlean harder to play compared to pensacola?

Just started playing this over the weekend and have advanced to Tier 5 but still using Tier 3 St Louis Cruiser. I suck at Tier 4 Phoenix torp cruiser. I suck at torpedoes, period!

I'd like to ask, can I just research towards a Tier 6 Cleveland without having to actually buy an Omaha (tier 5 ship)? Damn Phoenix cost me a bomb and I'm sure an Omaha will be even more expensive

i'm playing IJN BB line, currently on Tier V  Kongou, seems like most of you play US line

i feel like i'm sucks in aiming, although i have very long firing range but most of my lead shot is miss, either wrong lead timing or the shell just drop at the side of enemy ship

i always get killed by enemy because i keep on spearhead in the game, and most of the time i got shitty teammate that doesn't know how to move forward and all of them just say at base/spawn area

i also noticed many players that to border hugging, not sure what's the purpose but it seems like it is harder to hit them and estimate their speed when they are at the border

after so used to play tier 5 ships, going back to tier 1 to try the german and soviet tree really hurts my statistic
does citadel exist in lower tier ship? I sprayed another ship with AP at tier 2 in my tier 2 german but no citadel at all
wyoming, nicholas, omaha, murmansk, minekaze, furutaka; I enjoy playing with them all

Omaha is not a bad ship, maybe lest enjoyable than phoenix since it have 1 mile less range but meet tougher opponent; but the number of gun and the rate of fire is still significant advantage. having 6 gun facing forward is a big advantage when 1vs1 with other cruiser, use 1/2 or 1/4 speed maintain heading to the cruiser and shoot AP.

cruiser should not go anywhere below 10km to enemy battleship, their guns is too lethal and accurate enough within that distance. and cruiser's torpedo is not really be main consideration, only alternative for survival

Typically, how many days to get tier 10 ship?

need 3 days for t4, and every rank is exponential...
