Hi all, i want to buy a cheap and good digital camera, about like 6.0mp liddat or more, my budget is around like RM500-Rm900, which brand and wat model shud i take????

go to chech out dpreview.com 1st loo....or go to our forumer (valdimir)....he is a good seller..

If you wanna look at Canon, try looking at CANON Powershot A540,A700. Should be around your budget.....

Olympus fe-190! As long as you can make sure it takes good quality photos lol... so far no review for this little bad boi available. All we know is: its slim, its light, its 6.0mp, it has image stabilisation, and its cheap!! (RM899)

try fuji F20. not sure the price is within that category or not but it's big brother F30 is around 1.2k. you'll love it for it's low light capability..

I suggest you to look at Canon rather than Nikon biggrin.gif

Water proof? I think it's only water resistant, they say water proof. For Olympus new model I don't think there's any for your budget. For your budget you can go for Nikon, there's quite a range for you.

i saw the show girls take the olympus mu and throw it in the water for a few mins then pick it up, still very good functioning

the only water ressistant camera is Olympus ,if u wnt tht ,no choice for u but only olympus .

Err...my definition of water-proff will be that you can bring the camera in for scuba diving and take photos. Is that not?

Most likely swith off. If it's on, won't it affect the lens?

Yeah, so far I've only heard of Olympus camera is water resistant.

nikon is best for camera since its expertise in camera making not like other brand such canon sony etc etc... i suggest coolpix L4 for u cos i olso gonna buy it today biggrin.gif
