^ model kit lor
Hobby Boss IINM should be around MYR 50+ for a pop If one wanted a challenge, Kitech kit could be found at Amcorp at MYR 100.00 for 3 kits (free mix of what is available) |

QUOTE(deathsoul @ Feb 16 2015, 05:51 PM) To be fair, 1/72 Frogfoot is hard to come by in kit form locally. Manufacturers that came out with Su-25 designs in 1/72 such as Zvezda, Kopro, KP, Hobbycraft, Italeri, Revell etc are still inaccurate by the rivet counters' standard. Getting an Su-25 in die-cast alleviate such problem dealing with what could be done to make it accurate (as possible). One could just bought one, play for a while (engine noise optional, but highly recommended), and not to worry of the inaccuracies since one paid quite a dough in getting a die-cast Su-25 and just assume it is all good And being the only one with die-cast Su-25 compared to other manufacturers, Altaya is okay for what it is worth. The landing gear covers are rather impossible to come out without prying if displayed in flight mode, do bear that in mind. The pitot tubes are rather thick (by scale standard), but I would rather it be a bit thick than those things snapped and flew off by the flick of one's finger If you fancy ugliness as adowobel, then it should be considered (if could be found locally) Personally, I am digging those shark mouth decals, it make quite a difference in terms of appearance, |

QUOTE(deathsoul @ Feb 17 2015, 12:03 AM) do give me a heads up if they do. wanted a su-24/25/34 in diecast too gaincorp is still under consideration for me for the su-34 QUOTE(strikermac @ Feb 17 2015, 08:07 AM) Thanks comrade Tiger I. Good review. very much welcome. go for altaya if you could not find the specific model by other manufacturer, or somehow the seller is giving a great deal with low price. i don't see anything wrong with low price And Thanks everyone, I will keep in mind and consider Yes, Altaya sure is better than Amercom but worth it or not depend on like it or not. |

QUOTE(WingNut @ Feb 17 2015, 08:36 AM) thanks for the review, tiger I! Trust me, if any seller is selling Altaya at MYR 120.00, I bet it would sell like pisang goreng my take is that being one of those "with magazine" models, i suspect, as what comrade deathsoul mentioned, that it's mostly plastic with minimal diecast too. well, with a retail price of rm60, something has got to give. we had the fighter aircraft collection for rm29.90... so the question is, would you pay 3x the retail price for an amercom model from the fighter aircraft collection? from my personal experience, i think 2x is still reasonable if it's a model you really really like... but 3x is pushing it a bit far. likewise, i'd probably grab an altaya at rm120 max. but that's just me... QUOTE(WingNut @ Feb 17 2015, 08:38 AM) the gaincorp su34 is pretty decent, from what i heard... and yes, it is under my consideration as well. but the price... I might be getting the kit and paint myself when I have AB set |

Surely the IRL pilots would feel weird the first time getting on the Fullback, with getting into the cockpit via somewhat irregular method
At least the inside of the cockpit is roomy enough to allow the pilot to lay down for a rest in a long mission |
