I think that size should be 1/72 scale.
BTW if it was AC-130 is more better. tongue.gif

comparison between Altaya 1/72 Su-35 and Air Force 1 1/72 Su-35S

with both being around the same price, and if you are collecting Su-35, these two would be a good candidate (if one is lazy to do model kit, like me for the time being laugh.gif)

another offering from Air Force 1 with their camo-ed Su-35S is not recommended (heck even this aubergine colour is tad too dark, but I don't mind) since the bort no is not available IRL (from my understanding), non-camo-ed for the bottom of the plane and overspray issue

will probably get another 1/72 Su-35S from Hasegawa, just to complete it into a 3-plane flight biggrin.gif

pictorial comparison for these two planes. as one can see, air force 1 offering is some shade darker though

with that being said, i would applaud air force 1 for giving us tvc and movable tail biggrin.gif

not sure whether bort no. 21 exists but the early operational jets delivered to the russian air force has non-camoed belly. only the demo proto 902 has full camo (the paint would've weighed down the plane and provided less flexibility with regard to weapons load). personally, i find the af1's camoed version nicer... although yes, it does suffer from overspray (as do their pak fa). overall a nice model except that little attention has been paid to the underbelly with huge seam gaps between the metal and plastic bits... not to mention the exposed screws. the load out seems to be an afterthought too... all white with a dab of black about the tailfins. will try to post pics of the bird soon...

From what I can (or can't find) in the net I don't see any Su-35 21 red. Many in forum also agrees that such bort no doesn't exist. I am all for existance IRL tongue.gif With regards on the seamlines, screws, and missiles, those doesn't bother me that much since I won't be looking on that area that much. In any case, I am getting Hasegawa 1/72 Su-35S as well, to match with both of these. Would probably go for aubergine with 07 Red, or if I am feeling ambitious, camoed version with bort no 902 biggrin.gif

yups... here's the list of existing flanker-e (up to feb 2014): http://www.mars.slupsk.pl/fort/sukhoi/su-30-ru-27m2.htm

there are however 12 more to have been delivered in 2014. not sure whether 21 would've been in that fleet... but more likely it would've taken on nos. 01-12 (as per their predecessors). so yeah... probably no 21. even the first 4 spotted different camo than the 902... although there are pics of the 06 in similar camo to 902 rather than the dark grey/aubergine stated in the link. oh well... the ruskies don't post quite as many pics of their jets than the yankees do. rolleyes.gif

Russian less use word decal on their plane, except some words we actually don't know what it mean. tongue.gif
US aircraft always have a lot of words decal on their wings.

With regards to that, let's just leave it there for the time being. Surely there will be bort 21 laugh.gif

In any case, without the seam and whatnot, I do find it to be acceptable (or maybe I am contempt since this is one of two Su-35 I have own, without any comparison with other manufacturer/s, such as Witty Wings), personally biggrin.gif

hahaha... yeah, "21" looks good. witty doesn't have an su35. i think only altaya has it in diecast and no, i don't have one to make the sort of comparison you did tongue.gif

besides the pitot and blue helmet pilot issue, anybody here got the af1 sr71?
