1/100. The product line macam died though. The 1500yen for each price was from Kaiyodo official booth during Summer Wonfes. If it went into bargain in the official booth there is high possibility the product line was discontinued.

I see I see... hmm.gif
I thought it was same like TomyTec Gimix aircraft series was 1/144 scale.
That also was a great quality model with color ready.
Anyway 1500yen is really worth it. thumbsup.gif

ya... i love the tomcat! nice to see the insides (cockpit, radar, engines, cannon etc) but a pain to put together sweat.gif

if i do find the space, i may hunt for the bbi 18th scale tomcat someday moneyflies.gif

the most obvious deficiency of this model at a glance is missing the side steps (the grey squares above the port intakes). there is also a lack of detailing on the mlg's and ordnance. the price i got including shipping is about usd160... so not exactly cheap for an all plastic model. the material used also more like modelling plastic than abs, that's why really not worth the price. i may enhance this model in the future as there's a whole lot of room for improvement. anyway, i guess christmas comes early for me xmas.gif

hmm... seems most people retire from collecting diecast aircraft already. gotto be very selective nowadays since prices are up. jcw using ex-witty wing's mould also up. this hobby is getting way too expensive... and it's not just because of the weak ringgit. price seems to go up up up but quality seems to go down down down. i guess this hobby will probably die out in a year or two... if it hasn't already. sad, but true.

Price increase from time to time not only on aircraft model but also many other hobby collectibles item. An Autoart 1/18 diecast increase from USD110 to USD200 , lot of ppl complaint price increase too much la...wanna quit la...bla bla bla....end up still many ppl buying and posting picture on forum to show. A tomica red box used to sell at RM12.50 each when i into that hobby, tis year suddenly increase to RM19.90 each and i still see many ppl buying and post at FB group.

No point if we keep complaint but keep buying. We should gather all the collector opinion and send our message to those maker, then only they feel us. All stop buying and leave comment on those maker page saying we going to quit if price no drop. Wakakakaa........

no la... a lot of ppl already quit and i don't think the number of newbies joining the hobby is enough to bring the numbers back up. you can also see the trend from manufacturer's production numbers. what used to be produced in the 1500-2000 unit range has now dropped to about 500-750 only. sometimes manufacturers cannot avoid price increase because of the hike in raw materials, including manpower cost. the industry is still very much labour intensive as most manufacturers do not see the overall cost-benefit in automation. end of day collectors will still buy what we want... just that with price increase, we may be forced to be more selective. you, my friend, are in a different league altogether... talking about autoart when you're actually buying pocher rclxs0.gif

dry.gif dry.gif I only have 1 pocher in collection only brother. Cant effort to buy more even new release are much more nicer. 1/8 too much space consuming and take time to assembly plus my house very small, no place to keep also. HM price is getting higher too. Lucky i just collect F14, even now i also think to stop collecting f14.

some weekend poison. brand: jc military

overall: a very good effort by jcm.

parts fit very well. paint application good. no apparent smear/overspray. detailing acceptable although almost non-existent along the belly. a good choice if you're into russian jets. definitely a couple of notches up from its only competition at the moment, air force 1... but so is the price.
