i'm going to tokyo - kyoto - osaka on 5th of sept. How's the weather there during that time? Is it really typhoon season?

weather report like not very consistence. some days high, some days low temp. What's the actual temp like on the ground?

Hi guys, need some advice. I'm travelling to Japan in Sept with family. already booked 5d4n in Tokyo. Initial plan was to go 2d1n to Hakone after Tokyo then from there head to Kyoto.

However now Japan Met has issued a volcano warning for Hakone and raised the alert level. Summore the crater area has been closed off. Since i've not booked the Ryokan at Hakone, i've decided not to risk it and forgo Hakone.

Now i have a gap of 2d1n between tokyo and kyoto. any suggestion on where to go? wanna have some nature life after 5days of tokyo city life. Preferably with view of Mount Fuji or near Mount Fuji.

wow.. it looks like quite out of the way right? shikansen to kanawaza then jr train from there to kyoto right?

It looks like a seaside town. quite interesting. will check out travel cost first.

nationwide jr pass too exp.. I'm actually buying single ride ticket from Tokyo - Kyoto - Osaka since i'm only travelling in one direction. Flying back from Osaka.
