You can go google Nagano/Northern alps and see which place you would like to go. I chosed Takayama and Shirakawa-go. Winter should see snow rite  tongue.gif

yea...i usually plan around taking photos currently kansai gets my vote...tohoku on winter problematic go the place i wanna visit due to heavy snow and limited access due to no or less bus to the places i wanna go.

what is the earliest train to Kyoto from KIX airport?
to save money I might just sleep in the airport while waiting for the train to Kyoto, is it safe to do so? tongue.gif
my plan is to go to Kyoto during the first half of my 1 week trip, then only come back to Osaka on 4th day

btw Seagull hotel is too much, I am solo traveler
*
earliest train from kix to kyoto is 634 if not mistaken using haruka express...safe to sleep at airport...i sleep at airport on my first night during my autumn trip..bring a sleep mask just in case good spot are taken cause the airport is quite well lit if u cannot tahan light when sleeping.

Cheap also cannot bring many. Alcohol are not allow hand carried anymore But to Check in luggage. Inside luggage will
Limitation also cannot more than 2 Liters.

Come on Alcohol put into Luggage?  It will waste up ur bag capacity plus you need pay another extra money to put Fragile luggage category.

hi guys, few quenstion,

1. is iijmio available at kansai airport? i try to search from the point of sale on the website, but all in japan...  rclxub.gif  rclxub.gif

My current travel plan,

2. I planning to get Icoca & Haruka packages during my arrival at kansai international airport, but it seems it is not possible to use regular IC cards for riding the shinkansen and i am gonna traveling to Seta (Shiga) as my hotel locate there, so i have to buy regular ticket for shinkansen (tokaido, kyoto --> seta (shiga)?

3. and there is 2 card for Icoca & Haruka packages? 1 is for Haruka (Return Ticket to Kansai Airport) and 1 Icoca prepaid card.
*
Q1 https://t.iijmio.jp/en/#point_of_sale

Q2 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seta_Station_(Shiga), http://en.biwako-visitors.jp/access/ haruka got serviced until biwako line...stop at otsu take train at seta station i guess?

Q3 haruka express has 2 ticket (paper form) if u buy the round trip version and 1 icoca prepaid card
