Not base on going to Japan. It was base on airliners regulation. Different airline company different regulation, but 90% are similar because all are base on FAA regulation.

Powerbank must be in hand carry luggage. 100% DO NOT put in check in luggage.

90% Airliners company are limited to 160 Watts - hour // Less than 32,000 mAH Powerbank only

hi there! gonna have my first visit to japan soon with me+wife.
is it advisable we buy the JRline pass? we are staying for total of 8 days and will land/depart at narita, plan to visit tokyo 2 days, hakone, kyoto and osaka.

With all the travelling is the JRline pass advisable? or isit cheaper to buy tickets ala carte?

Also is japan credit card friently? i heard is not credit card friendly at all... if not creditcard friendly we will book all our hotels from msia before heading there. any recommended site for jp hotels?

Honestly speaking I hardly took JR line when I was in Japan. Most of the time was non-JR Line. I cannot deny when I was in Tokyo I took Yamanote Line most of the time but that's also for me to change to other lines. In Kansai, I only use Kansai Thru Pass, I highly recommend this card if you plan to go to Kansai, for e.g. Osaka, Kyoto and etc.

I survived 9 days in Japan with just Pasmo and KTP. biggrin.gif

For credit card, I went shopping and used my AmEx to swipe. No issue at all and I was amazed by the speed to process my payment via cc, almost instantly and the bill will be generated. thumbup.gif
