for ANA, not sure if the tourist promo is applicable during that time.
With that promo the fare for tourist only usually is around 10k yen per flight within Japan

Haha..nowonder..then maybe cancel trip to hokkaido lo..
caused the time i book arrival and return airport both at narita..

Now we plan to go tokyo,kyoto,and mount fuji for 10 days trip.
if possible we will add or either osaka or hokkaido..
but now seem not possible ald..

Anyway million thanks ya..this is my very first overseas trip with friends, many things to explore yet.

Apart from the Snow Fest u can go ski in Hokkaido. Book early hotel wont be so exp. But the prob is we don't know the official date of the snow fest yet. The official website says Feb 5- 11, 2016. But it is the same for this year Feb 5- 11, 2015. I not sure if its correct. The snow fest is 1 week, it is crowded but not until cannot walk. U can eat at other places, no need eat at the fest there.

Some domestic airlines only sell flight 2-3 months before date of flight

The island is really big. At first I noob, went few times only manage to cover Sapporo and nearby - Otaru, Kiroro, Furano, Biei. This winter plan to go again, maybe start from Hakodate the go north

8 years , 52 times to Hokkaido.
Only 1 summer , 3 Spring , 5 Autumn , 43 times Winter.
Most of my Hokkaido experience and activities are Winter.

Works mostly. Winter mostly customers or boss likes go Hokkaido.

During winter not only Hokkaido.
I go Tokyo , Kansai , Yamagata , Nagano , Akita too

I when to Japan over 400 times. honestly at Tokyo, I still cannot find any shop that can make it tasty as Shikoku.
But taste which is score 70/100 points are:

so usually once per a week i will drop by Sanuki Udon at Taman Desa or Manmaru at Midvalley,so far both is impressive on its own

2nd day in Tokyo..

i) Expect long queue in good restaurant. Well it is always worth the wait.

ii) Most japanese store workers do not really speak english well, have to struggle to explain what we are looking for. jr train station staff can speak english well and very helpful.

iii) Train is everywhere, same track 2 different train just separated by 2 minutes. Have to look at the signboard real carefully before knowing which train to board.
