Should have raged on the spot & scolded the manager kao kao. You shouldn't have walked out of there with the unit.

Make sure they exchange a new one with sealed box and check the item properly. Later they give you a refurbished set then you'll open another thread to complain lel.

another thing is if you walked out already, very hard to claim for warranty one. A lot of things can happen between the time you walk out and you walk back in. And if your phone already on, iphone already activated, the warranty already berjalan. so who want to buy activated phone?

Take an example lah, my store got one colleague fagget dont know how to explain to customer differences between space grey and silver, then when take out customer merajuk say not the color he want, opened box unit, nobody want to buy, now left in the store for weeks already.

More like Machines' policy, not Apple policy. TS mentioned that if he had bought it from Apple online store, no problem to return and get an exchange. So it's clearly Machines' shitty policy.
