IMO, most of the iems benefit a little to none from burn in, especially for BA driver based. they'll sound just the same as just outta the box and after 400+ hours of driving it.

For headphones, so far I have personally compared quite a lot in between a new out of box set and a used set. Almost all of them sound differently.
(some manufacturer has already burnt them in during QA)
