Managed to redeem robinsons vouchers, a smart tag and a Harmon kardon soundsticks III at harvey norman, there goes almost 2 yrs plus of treatspoints. Wanted to change to enrich miles instead but since they don't have seats for EM upgrade to business class for my april flight to UK decided to change it for something else.

QUOTE(BRY7 @ Mar 18 2015, 12:53 PM) theres a 3% fee charged to every transaction on the AMEX hence you'll see a very high exchange rate Comparing the rates of OCBC Titanium card and Maybank Amex, amex rates are better. Used it for airbnb accomodation booking & UK train tickets purchase as well. I'm attaching screenshot of my statement below for reference.
*Editted* Pls refer to the 2nd March posting. Both same date, in USD as well. 254USD : RM934.79 which is 1:3.68 93USD : RM350.44 which 1:3.76. This post has been edited by kenlui: Mar 18 2015, 07:39 PM

QUOTE(maskedchan @ Mar 18 2015, 04:40 PM) how would that be a fair comparison since both item transaction date or posting date different.. anyway, amex always give better rate for USD.. My bad. Changes done. Comparing to both same transaction on 2nd march still yields the same exchange rate. This post has been edited by kenlui: Mar 18 2015, 07:39 PM

QUOTE(supersound @ Mar 18 2015, 02:47 PM) Not really, it depends greatly on timing and the rate used by issuing banks. Ady ammended make initial post. Comparing to both same transactions in USD on 2nd march still shows similar rate. This post has been edited by kenlui: Mar 18 2015, 07:40 PM

QUOTE(supersound @ Mar 18 2015, 08:18 PM) It depend greatly on which country you are. Like US and SG, it will fluctuate more. Like now i in Qatar, it may change as long as 1 month. Best of all, Visa's rate are same as AMEX now in Qatar:sweat: If you are just a short term period visitor, it won't affect much. I see. Thanks for the tips!

QUOTE(ivzh @ Mar 18 2015, 09:12 PM) anyone manage to exchange the points with harvey norman voucher? how long will be the voucher valid? There is no physical voucher for harvey norman. U redeem and use it on the spot over thenciunter when paying. QUOTE(red_scorpion @ Mar 18 2015, 10:45 PM) but amex have 2.5% overseas charge and ocbc tit only 1.25%.. is depend on posting date also...maybe ocbc posting date is late 1 day, and tat day USD higher Like I said Im comparing using the same day transaction.

QUOTE(dradormien @ Mar 30 2015, 09:08 PM) if I want to make supplementary card for my card, can I just walk in to card centre and request for it? How long usually will take to process? The last time I applied for supp card for my bro, took about 1 hour at the 1U card centre.
