Submitted my application form Maybank 2 platinum amex n visa n another form for the visa infinite after reading Gen X's blog.....if got it ll cancel my uob infinite as it become redundant card....

Maybank has sent me sms said my application approved. Submitted the forms on tuesday afternoon n only less than 3 working days approved....so efficient meh..

But sometimes the sms ll comes few hours later especially u r overseas.

I found out that booking thru Agoda, the room rates is more expensive than I walk in rates. I am comparing the 2 hotels I staying in thailand as I normally book my room by walking in. Think of earning extra points n I check the agoda, the quoted rates is more expensive, haven't included the 16% charges somemore. Anyone can comment?

Lucky it didnt affect the visa infinite card.....phew

Please share what is worth buying before gst slapped on us. I don't mind stocking up the items just to save that 6% not to flow in to the cronies pockets eventually.

My list are shampoos, body showers. Milk powder (stock up already and the price has increased before gst), mamypoko, washing liquid like dynamo. Can spread the purchase in feb n march to max out all the credit cards I have.

Lion group every year got sell the parkson vouchers to the staffs at 15% discount. Eg RM85 for a RM100 voucher.

I got my card this month n first statement has not even out and the inflation already kicks in.....

Then, can we use credit card to buy cash vouchers or gift card n max out the cash rebates by 1st week of the month n go buy big items n refund back to cash? Like this if works, I ll apply all credit cards come with rebates n ll make money with every cards. Will use my father mother brother sister name to apply cards too.....

This reminds me those old days how I utilize the refund policy of walmart.

Ask the company stop deducting tax as we ll do the deduction thru credit card monthly.

He may be sub the card to impress his gf or luring the friend to be his gf or that is his really bff.

Hopefully later if redeem for MAS flight n not charge another round of gst on the TP.
