Depends on credit history too, I guess. My CL is almost 5x my salary. Been holding my MBB 2 Card since its inception (2010 or 2011). Yearly usage is heavy, about 2x to 3x my credit limit. Very prompt payment every month with no late payment ever.

I've been increasing my CL consistently over the past few years. Every 6 months, will put in a request. My 5x CL is not achieved through one shot. Standard amount upon approval will usually be between 2x to 4x the salary slip. Nope, certainly not an Aspire or Premier Wealth member.
