I just got my Maybankard 2 ( Amex & Visa ) last month and have done quite a few transactions.
Checking TP online thru' Maybank2U, it show only TP award for Visa card for none (0) for Amex even a few transactions was done using Amex.
Anyone faced similar issues before?
*
Have all the transactions on your AMEX posted to M2U online statement?

Yes. Whatever transactions I have made on AMEX are posted M2U online.
*
How long? It could take few days after the transaction posted for TP to be awarded.

My statement says 400 points = RM1 starting 1st March 2015, not 1st May 2015

and also, i have a question.  at the back of the statement got say "Statement for American Express Gold Credit Card = RM5 each hardcopy"

this is my first statement, so no details of that rm5.  will i be charged next month onward?
*
Extension. Refer to TP website:

Just applies for m2c. Was told that I will be charged the GST in my first statement. Any ways to waive it?

If the RM 100 cash back campaign still ongoing, you can use it to offset it.

I have an existing Maybank Mastercard and has thought of converting to Maybank 2 Cards as the TP is higher. I now read that we have to pay the RM100 service tax instead.  Is it still worth converting to this card? Currently only paying RM50 but no cash back benefits.

I also have the following questions:

1. Why is Amex getting more TP than MC/Visa?
2. Can I transfer my existing TP from my current MBB CC?
3. When I want to redeem my TP for a particular product, can I use TP combined from both card or can only choose one?
4. Will I be getting the same credit limit as my current card if I sign up for Maybank 2 Cards or up to discretion of the bank?

1. Why is Amex getting more TP than MC/Visa?
To promote AMEX since it is not so widely accepted in Malaysia

2. Can I transfer my existing TP from my current MBB CC?
Yes

3. When I want to redeem my TP for a particular product, can I use TP combined from both card or can only choose one?
Any card will do

4. Will I be getting the same credit limit as my current card if I sign up for Maybank 2 Cards or up to discretion of the bank?
It depends if you provide latest payslip. They may or may not increase the CL.

Can. Depends on the merchant.

I assume you're referring to merchant side installment plan.

Not all petron accept CC  mad.gif  mad.gif  mad.gif

I am already used to SS14 Petron where they accept amex in terminal and counter.

But I went to Manjalara Petron, they only accept cash.  mad.gif  mad.gif  mad.gif

You're correct and I didn't say ALL Petron accept AMEX.

I did encounter certain branches doesn't acccept AMEX.
