SMS was immediate. 21 March @ 7:54am, email confirmation 7:55am. Captured in M2U was 20 March (transaction date)  vmad.gif

shopback link?? what's that?

i was using agoda.com/maybank to get 7% discount  sweat.gif
Hotel in KL nia.  laugh.gif

you may do your own calculation. if your hotel room cost above rm285, then use mbb link. if lower than rm285, use shopback link. because shopback gives flat rm20 no matter which room type or how much it costs.

haha i was booking in the morning and check-in same day at noon.

since Agoda booking is immediate (i guess), probably next time can book later before noon/at noon.

lol... so you was like:
1) went to the hotel receptionist and asked for price and whether they accept amex
2) found it's expensive than agoda and doesn't accept amex
3) sit at the lobby and use mbb link to book a room
4) went back to the receptionist with hotel room voucher
5) receptionist bengang

yeah, my previous booking at 1 March (Sunday @ 9:56am) was listed as 1 March in M2U too. same payment gateway.

So, most likely 10am+ transaction would be "safe" time to book Agoda biggrin.gif

Thanks for sharing.
I can only think of this logic. London is 8hrs behind KL time, Maybank captured the transaction date/time as per Agoda London time registry.
Based in the time stamped on your sms, you just missed the London's Saturday by a mere 6 mins. laugh.gif

I tried Harvey Norman on Saturday.
They said they still accept redemption, but only by every RM50.
Means if the things we bought at RM69, we have to pay extra RM19 and redeem TP to RM50.

If company pays, why do you bother saving money through agoda and risk not getting reimbursed?

Some companies have a limit on claims, so going through Agoda can help you stay within budget and not need to top up yourself.

This question is for your company though, no-one from outside can help answer you Ricky300

Oh yes...you are right! budget thing....

So long as can input the company name, I should be able to claim back the full amount.

Question is that, I couldn't find a place to input company name sweat.gif
