Amex's 5X TPs is equivalent to 1.25% (in TPs). Amex's 2X TP is equivalent to ???% (in TPs).

My bad for asking a confusing question.

400TP=RM1
For Amex 2X TP, spend RM100, get 200TP means get RM0.50
(0.50÷100)%=0.5%

the formula is like this:

currently, 250tp = rm1
so, 1x tp = rm1 / 250 x 100% = 0.4%
5x tp = 5 x 0.4% = 2%
2x tp = 2 x 0.4% = 0.8%

after revision, 400tp = rm1
so, 1x tp = rm1 / 400 x 100% = 0.25%
5x tp = 5 x 0.25% = 1.25%
2x tp = 2 x 0.25% = 0.5%

THe RM 50 GST is going to abolish on April 1st, 2015.

It was introduced few years back to curb credit card issuance.

Cash back and treat point (x5) will be given if you using Amex on weekends for EPP, otherwise only point is given if spend on weekdays.

Visa/MS is only point earn (x1), no 5% rebate

as long as the transaction date is on the weekend and the cumulative swap amount reached RM1k, you will get the max RM50 cash back provided all the transactions' posting date fall in the same month.
