i want to convert my account to this, possible?
*
I just added an account and maintain from there.
Damn good and I'm having extra money every month from the interest generated, pretty good amount in my opinion. brows.gif Not like fixed deposit, this amount of money can be withdrawn anytime. biggrin.gif

My parents who are not IT literate, don't have a M2U account went to Maybank branch and were told that this only can be done via M2U and not at any physical branch. The account is created instantly and I have been recommending the people around me to have a Saver account. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(HMMaster @ Feb 16 2015, 07:02 AM)
Same here... need another few K of points to round it up so that can exchange for the vouchers. So, is the treatpoints credited instantly? Coz most likely with get the points in the following weeks.
*
I also bought some stuff after I exchanged, will check my latest TP and change again next week. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(noien @ Feb 16 2015, 08:51 AM)
from wat i read, only miles point is affected by the new system isnt it?
so from march onwards, all the point is change to 14500tp for rm50?
*
All. They put a notice at the redemption centre.

QUOTE(kinabalu @ Feb 16 2015, 08:54 AM)
get an umbrella 6250TP or laptop bag for 12500TP brows.gif
*
Will try to get vouchers if only I can't will think of alternatives. brows.gif

QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 16 2015, 05:26 PM)

Got two yesterday when bought stuff at Bobbi Brown on Sunday. Accepts AmEx and my bill was 310, however cannot split into two bills to get 4 donuts because I was getting a rebate of 50 bucks when I purchase the two items together. sad.gif

For the benefit of others, need to bring the receipt to Maybankard centre at the LG floor I think (where all the eateries are) and exchange for Krispy Kreme voucher with the presence of your credit card and mykad. Then bring it to Krispy Kreme counter and choose two donuts for free. biggrin.gif

What will happen to my unused Treat points after 1st of March should I choose not to redeem anything now? How does the TP inflation affect my existing points?
*
Now 250TP = RM 1, 01 March will be 400TP = RM 1.
So yeah, you will need more points in the future.

Hi, doea anyone know where can one utilise treatpoints for DELL products? Not stated at their website. Harvey Norman doesn't have what I'm looking for, DELL monitors.
*
I doubt so... So no luck for your monitors.

QUOTE(apitzhnu @ Feb 23 2015, 12:03 AM)
Yea, but I don't know whether it is transferable or not. Need to check with them
*
At least for Aeon vouchers, they don't have your name printed or registered. smile.gif I have just redeemed mine last weekend. smile.gif

I'm not sure if I should upgrade my card now? I'm just afraid it will charge the Government Service Tax RM 50 to my new upgraded cards right after it is approved. Or should I do it after 1st April? unsure.gif

My current combo's anniversary is in April (embossed on my card). So, should I upgrade it now or no?

I'm very confused with this new GST thingy for credit cards.

So far I only attended GST trainings for HR practitioners. blush.gif

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Feb 23 2015, 04:44 PM)
if i'm not mistaken, the service charge on credit cards was first introduce by the gov to prevent people from simply applying for credit card and collect debt. abolishing it during gst would defeat the purpose.

but again, who knows. lol
*
Well, abolish Government Service Tax but most of the goods/services we will be paying regardless via cash or credit card will have Good Service Tax. So, it could be we will pay more than RM 50...

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ Feb 23 2015, 04:51 PM)
if only 'they' are so understanding. lol. despite some saying u pay less with gst and all, at the end of the day, gst is to increase the gov's revenue

Well, that's another discussion already. laugh.gif

I just checked my TP, sufficient to redeem another two more RM 50 Aeon vouchers. laugh.gif So, it is going to be RM 700 from my TP. tongue.gif

Plan to do it in KLCC this Thursday when I go there for movie (buy 1 free 1 ticket) and upgrade my card at the same time. Well, either way I will be charged with GST in March... sad.gif

Thinking that I will need to link my PayPal, Apple Store and Uber again later... Aargh. sad.gif

dammit, might as well keep my card for another year and cancel before the next gst charge.

Thanks!
*
Why do you want to cancel such a nice and useful card? blink.gif
My friends from China envy my Maybank card, they said China doesn't have such good card after seeing me redeemed RM 600 Aeon vouchers earlier. Got two free Krispy Kreme donuts when shopped in Bobbi Brown MV. Weekends 5% rebate. We are going to Legoland and I can buy 4 tickets at 35% discount. Then this Thursday, we are going to watch movie at TGV, buy 1 free 1. laugh.gif

QUOTE(Alec.Yong @ Feb 24 2015, 11:26 AM)
Anyone know what is the rate of MR, to redeem the Aeon Voucher at MBB Card Centre One U? Same with TP also?
*
What is MR? blink.gif
Anyway, it is 12500 TP = RM 50 Aeon voucher. smile.gif

MR = member rewards.. drool.gif

Point from AMEX..

As I checked from the Amex Website, the rate is 33,100 MR to redeem RM100 Aeon Voucher... shakehead.gif
*
I see. laugh.gif I thought Maybank Reward. laugh.gif
What is the conversion for MR though? Same like AmEx TP? RM 1 = 5 MR?

QUOTE(victorywp @ Feb 24 2015, 11:44 AM)
wah, you fully utilised your mbb2cards to the max!

i think he meant amex membership rewards..
*
Yes, and I forgot that I even got RM 600 rebate when I bought the iPhone 6 during the Maybank Members iPhone Day. tongue.gif

Earlier I recommended my China colleague who works here permanently to get it and she also loves this card. laugh.gif

I usually get cheaper ticket. So not breakeven yet on the first freebies. LOL

Shall think about it even though I seldom watch movie in cinema. MovieMoney is 10% rebate?
*
Not rebate, is just that every ringgit spent 10% goes into MovieMoney, so just accumulate from there. biggrin.gif

QUOTE(Prodigenous Zee @ Feb 25 2015, 12:29 PM)
Wah, some people want to cut this card because of the points inflation? Talk about overreacting man.. 1.25% cashback on points is still pretty good.
*
Yes, this card is still the best combo in the market. No other banks can fight with Maybank's benefits. smile.gif
