I did call up to MBB CS, they mentioned the revised treatpoint conversion rate is apply only for those wanted to use their treatpoint to change to airmiles.

The rest remains the same, no change.

I have a question regarding the AEON vouchers.

There's two types of AEON vouchers in the treatpoint redemption.

1) AEON Shopping Voucher
AEON Shopping Voucher RM20 x 5 = 27250 TP

2) AEON Gift Voucher
AEON Gift Voucher RM20 x 5 = 25000 TP

Both are worth RM100 but difference in TP is 2250. I'm dropping by soon to redeem my points but I got a bit confused with these two. Just thought I'd ask here and see anyone has realize this before before calling Maybank directly.

Calling customer service to ask for a waiver is possible, but it is totally up to the bank whether they want to grant you this waiver.

My question is on the T&C booklet, it states RM100 service tax is payable every year. But, when I signed up, the salesperson said only RM50 service tax is payable for 2 cards. Somemore say it can be waived upon calling the customer service center.

banks are smart in protecting themselves. they can say they nvr force you to redeem, you have the right to wait after 1st march albeit at much higher rate. all these are options you have. anyway, you can always go to other maybankard centres.

Parkson no stocks complaints to Parkson lah.. How come complaints Maybank pula..
Even when you call their customer service and log and complaints due to this they will be like "lol"...

I went to Maybank branch just now to open my Maybank2U online. I met an officer and explained to her my situation that I do not have any Saving or Current Account but I wanted to bind my M2C to Maybank2U and then she told me she cannot help me out and advised me to create a Saving Account. Is Maybank already forbid to create Maybank2U without any Current or Savings Account with them?

Seriously? But before this, I have called their CS few times regarding this issue and they kept gave the cliche answer saying that I must go to any Maybank branch to solve this issue

Seems like I have no other option rather than create a Saving Account though

will vouchers like aeon be affected by GST? I'm thinking whether to buy next month or after April. if I buy after April, will I have to pay for GST? otherwise, I will buy with amex next month. not sure getting 5% rebate after gst is worth it anymore since the GST will be 6%

however, statement balance still show the amount. should i be concern?
