Yes you owe the bank 1k. The statement balance and pay option will always be there (until new statement), just ignore it if you already made full payment.

few days late is ok for mbb, but better don't, to avoid unnecessary issue later.

aiyo, you don't believe? i have been doing this for many years until some "smart" staffs started to refund the credit back to gift cards or credit cards instead of refunding cash. so i changed tactics to cash vouchers (reasons as i posted above). and this is how i always maximise my wise x2 and mbb2amex x2 beside other cc. whenever i have extra unuse cb i will buy cash vouchers.

ok, if really want to share all these hypermarket tricks/tips too many la. ok la, i share a few more to you all.

do you want to get 3x points at mydin for each rm?
1) buy cash voucher = 1 point
2) use cash voucher to reload tng = 1 point
3) use tng to buy stuffs = 1 point

do you know how to keep getting mydin points + keep extending your cash voucher at mydin?
1) buy rm500 cash voucher = 500 points
2) use the cash voucher to reload rm500 to tng = 500 points
3) use the rm500 in tng to buy again rm500 voucher = 500 points
4) keep repeating the above 2&3 for 500 points each time
5) by doing this also your cssh voucher is extended each time (so not only limited to 3 months only)
remarks: each time reload tng will charge 50 cents, but you still gain in long run

i don't believe someone has ever done this before. if someone trying to claim they did this before is surely a liar. so shall i now ask people to say i'm a genius and compliment me? lol...

anyway, after sharing these tricks i believe mydin will soon change their t&c... perhaps no more points for cash vouchers or no more points for tng reloads or cannot use cc/tng to buy cash vouchers... or all the above... but i will surely find the loopholes again. lol...

Cash voucher = gift voucher?

Below is what i get from mydin website.

Is there any exclusion?
Yes. Customers cannot collect points on MYDIN Gift Vouchers and products purchased from our Mall tenants.

yeah, as i mentioned earlier (quoted below)...

QUOTE(victorywp @ Mar 4 2015, 08:18 PM)
to get points for cash vouchers purchase may not work every time. certain trick is needed but it also may not work every time. and of course besides the fact that you need to pay rm12 a year for a mydin card. if really can't get it, you still can get 2x points (although not 3x) and 50 sen charge for 500 points (although not 50 sen for 1k points). 1k points can redeem rm5 voucher.

anyway, i will wait until the first person to report IF he failed to swipe his mydin card to get point for cash vouchers purchase. other than this, other parts of what i shared shall work perfectly without any issue. brows.gif

Maybe someone could point me in the right direction...

Want to redeem something before the point inflation kick in...

Hi there
got the maybank 2 card 1/2 weeks ago
just wanted to know coz never have loan, and CC before
never need to pay anything also

1) I dont need to pay for the activation for the card right?
2) For the 1st time usage, lets say I swipe for petrol, how did I pay the CC again and how long the payment will get updated. Do I need to pay for the amount I use only or...?
3) Is there any way I can put in the money inside CC, and just deduct the amount I use from there, instead of paying back everytime I use?
4) is it better to use 2 CC everytime you pay for different things, or just use mastercard is enough?
4) would like to hear what tips actually you can give when using CC :-)

just do your own calculation on the point redemption of the item you like using this formula 250tp = rm1. if you don't think that item worth the tp to be redeemed, then just exchange for cash vouchers and go to the merchant that issue the cash voucher to buy yourself the item which you like.

1) no need to pay for activation
2) pay within 20 days after you receive your statement
3) yes, just transfer money to your cc. but preferably point (2)
4) use the amex whenever possible, especially during thr weekends (mastercard just keep in case amex not accepted)
5) read post #1
