i got my mbb 2 plat last month and the expiry were set to 2 years only. My current and old mbb ikhwan got 5 years expiry and will be expired by april.

Got it. I'm just afraid that my payments via online will be denied if the expiry date is approaching.
Also, will the credit card numbers be changed as well? Then, my PayPal, Google Play, Apps Store, Uber and other payment that tied to the previous credit card needs to be updated again... sad.gif

The credit card number should be the same if it is auto-renewed by the bank. At least that's my experience from other bank's credit cards.

it will be the same, but different security code.

sometimes, the Amex security code doesn't work, and you need to call the customer service to rectify it. happened to me before.

it going to be matter to a person who always travel oversea or based outside of malaysia..
you need to purposely come back to take the card which might not possible for the given time

Good luck if you lost the card or it gets duplicated. People steal card like to spend below RM200 to test test first, if you don't have SMS alert at that level then they happily can use. That's why we normally set RM1.

I just filled up the credit limit increase form and going to the 1U Maybank branch later to hand out the form together with my 3 months pay slips. I noticed that they mentioned:

3 months payslips OR EPF Statement

So it is either one? Or better to bring both and go?

why don't you just pay a visit to Mid Valley Maybank card center?
You can get the redemption on the spot.

Who knows maybank2u online redemption will work on 28FEB??

80% increase because my salary has increased quite a lot compared to when I first got the card. That time was just a fresh grad. blush.gif
