Pershing is pretty ok, skoda also quite decent for its tier, other then that other tank never really heard much about for premium MT.

Anyone got issues updating the game on digi ? I had to turn on VPN to get full speed. Otherwise, the speed will be below 100 KB/s/

Update 9.22 Released

Last Sat and Sun MM really shitty, my winrate of FV4005 dropped 4%, yesterday night only gained back 2% cause not play enough.

Guess weekend more school kids in some countries keep spamming yolo gun firing without aim properly...

I am trading off my AC4 frontdick tank & FV4202... for Ravioli + STRV/T34?

What I have now since Sept 2017:

thinking about swapping my patton kr

bad terrain resistances and slow shell velocity.. i used to be able to counter meds and avoid close ups with heavies but now i couldnt.. new meta meds got so much tougher armors now while i get penned right left and center

is there any chance for me to trade in my alpine tiger..? 175 pen is a joke

Just checked Patton KR from TankGG, ZOMG that cheeks + hull weakpoint + cupola + overall thin armor + 0.38 gun + low alpha... its like USA version of IS-6???


Dont trade away your Alpine tiger, reasons:

1. more silvers than usual T8 prems.
2. 175 pen is a joke if fight frontally, but its 390 alpha not a joke when u hit the side and rear (it is not a brawler despite it is a heavy), its role is like mid range side flanker/interceptor
3. Despite its pike nose slope 180-220mm effective armor, most heaives with more than 200+ pen can frequently PEN through in melee range, so its again not a brawler
4. Thus, I play it like a TD/heavium, which is critical to rush some points before waiting the slower heavies arrive. 50km/h is an insane speed for a T8 prems to compete with T9 and T10.
5. It has 1 of the best camo value among T8 heavies, and works well with camo net for long range first strikes despite its gun stats.
6. Mauerbrecher handle bounces way better than Alpine despite 5 weakpoints, but Alpine can outmanuver many heavies easily after maxing Off-road + clutchbraking.
7. In T9 and T10 matches, Mauerbrecher is being eaten alive in current version, but Alpine can use its speed to do some surprise ambushes/captures.

IS-6 is 175/217 pen with 35kmh, which is hopeless in all aspects, but not Alpine(175/250 PEN). Alpine is a crazy heavium.

But after seeing the asessment... tempted to trade away my Alpine...

Zomg why trade away the SKG? Although it sucks in fights within view range but its alpha and PEN still feared by enemies if they are not careful enough.

Just traded away my AC4 dicktank for M4 revaloise, & play a few games:

1. This Ravioli shell velocity shell speed is lightning fast, it reaches enemy right away as you click. PEN or not is another matter though. 1460ms is no kidding on those running LTs and MTs hunting.

2. Handles way better than SKG due to VSTAB + MT less gun bloom on turret turning, Vehicle also feel less sluggish than SKG.

3. Camo roughly same as SKG but better sniper due to better shell velocity reach targets WAY faster.

4. I am actually thinking of trading off my SKG if I find T34 and Ravioli gameplay better than expected, for a specialized open map sniper : STRV-S1

Alpine tiger is a unique tank in its own class, and cool camo! thus wont trade it away~

SG is one of the best credit maker tank in the game so far, the only premium class that is bringing a tier 9 gun to 8,9,10 fight.

Missed like 3 tokens, thus spent RM65++ to get the rest of the tokens. Still a steal though consider how comfortable I use Alpine as high speed + decent alpha support.

SKG is very good in credit making tank due to its damage output,

but it is very unforgiving for new players/casual players due to 0 armor and bad camo within 445m sniping at tier9 and 10 games.

As a sniper: Its main 490 alpha gun can be trolling sometimes despite 0.29 dispersion, bad gun bloom when turning the turret, not to mention the low velocity shells arc and bad camo against most fast-moving MTs and LTs

As a support: 1150 with 0 armor is too little for trading hits if needed. Massive Gun bloom is a serious issue when it comes to peekaboom.

As a result: SKG only suitable as long range sniper between render distance and view range, if engagement range is closer than 445m, SKG need to find a larger building for cover + escape route after 1st/2nd shots. Its large profile is too easy to spot and aim at within 445m. In short, jack of all trades in many aspects, but master of none.

SKG may be so when your crew don't have more then 2 perks yet ....... for me majority of my match I was never spotted if my side is winning. Its a lazy man's tank, cause majority of your time you pick long range spot.

Currently my SKG crew are equipped with 2 skills (all camos and with critical skills/perks), it does prints great credits if you are good in landing 1 shot and cabut safely if spotted(very often)

Just purchase obj 252u 4days ago and so far enjoying this tank... my alpine tiger can officially start to gather dust in garage...



Conclusion: based on how I categorize and rate current premium tanks by tiers, this 252U is not really consider as OP, but performs better than others as a non-pref MM premium tank...
