By the way, I heard that it is now possible to port your current PSTN home phone number to Unifi when you subscribe as a new user.
Ask the person who told you that to tell you how to do it.
Because I don't believe anyone in here has ever heard that before.

also when i upgrade will they give a new btu unit and router ? or not ? and what will the username/password be for it  hmm.gif  ?
New BTU & new router is only provided for new registrations.
New BTU & new router will not be provided for recontracts / plan upgrades.
The username & password will remain the same.

Guys, if I do video calls, for e.g. FaceTime or WeChat video calls, upload speed is also important right? sad.gif
Absolutely.

In dilemma, though I don't do it often but it's one of the reasons why I signed up for UniFi.
Previously, I managed to do this with 5Mbps upload, I think I still should be able to if I go for 30Mbps.

Thanks for the information. smile.gif
If you're just doing FaceTime & WeChat video, then 5Mb/s is fine.
I on the other hand had to join some WebEx / Jabber video conference with the oversea offices & I had to connect through the company's VPN which my home 10Mb/s is too sluggish to cope. sweat.gif

Luckily mine is most of the time is conference call, video conference only if there's interview.

And yeah, my Company is using the exactly same tool as yours. laugh.gif WebEx Meeting, WebEx Connect. laugh.gif

I also have to connect to company's VPN. laugh.gif
How's the video quality on your side using WebEx + VPN?
Mine quite sluggish. Not all the time though, it just got stuck for a few seconds & then fine for a few minutes then the cycle repeats.

Like you, I'm also the only user at home.
