Guys! Need your advice in case you guys know about HyppTv Jumbo package. As the old package, there is this ruby package which bundles few chinese channels but i dont see this in Jumbo package. In fact, no chinese channel in the list of channels....

haha.. bro, mine same case. called on 20th jan 2015 regarding the promotion and I said interested but need to discuss with family either to take the jumbo deal or not. finally decision made on 22 Jan 2015 and she say will receive email after 3 working days. I have to say their follow up is very good but implementation is....... u know la.

If I don't want HyppTV package but VIP10 at RM 169 or RM 179. Can I enrol VIP5 @ RM 149 first and immediately upgrade to VIP10 when installation? Can it still be done at this moment and which agent can do it in Puchong area? RM209/month is definitely out of my budget.

Earlier thinking of Ja-Jumbo package but on second thought I may not watch HyppTV so often. Better save the RM60 instead....

my wife (acct under her name) got the call early this month but it is VIP10 @ RM179. Anyway to get RM169 offer instead?

are you still using the stock orange dlink router? If yes may have a method to help.

RM169 mostly for 1st batch and never upgrade after 2 years contract finish..

yeah.. 3 years already. got the call twice. once last year once this year. both also RM179

i think rm169 only offered to users in highrise with intense competition with time and/or maxis.

other places with unifi monopoly, no chance.

my house is landed and my current package is VIP10@RM169...my friend lives in apartment and only got the RM179 offer...another difference is i've been subscribing to unifi since march/april 2010 while my friend since 2011 iinm...

yr case may also be due to competition while the apt case have no competition.

ya, all kinds... nobody knows how, why and when do 169, 179, 199; with or without hypp pack 1, 2, 3; free one month or none; change equipment or none; sign new contract or none.

i gave up trying to understand how they offer but seems there is no std format....

If existing package is RM199 VIP10 with hypTV, can just upgrade to VIP20@RM199/month without Jumbo Pack or required to take the Jumbo Pack@RM60 + RM199 VIP20 ?

yr rm199vip10 probably has megapack.
when i called them last week, was told you can go vip20 jumbo by paying additional rm60 = rm259.

no, u can't get vip20 by giving up megapack and same rm199. but u can go vip20 keep mega by paying additional rm50, but no jumbo.

and u can't swap mega for jumbo with additional rm10, still vip10.

anyway, i am not very sure about all this. but that's what i got when i called. others seem to have been told diff things when they call. so, maybe their cs dept also blurr due to so many types n variations, can be diff depending who u speak to...?!!

Hi Mika, may i know if use this router, do i still need the B.T.U that comes with UniFi package?

Lately, the B.T.U is acting up (always lost connection. After restart, the internet was recovered for a short while, then disconnected again), and is making some noise (something like yii~~~~~~~).
Is anybody else having similar problem?
