no international warranty?
Hi,
This is a very tricky question, Apple had recently updated their policy for iPad, due to certain reason, probably the hardware variation for each model that sell in different countries, Apple is no longer providing international warranty for iPad
Having said that, the hardware variation issues most probably only occur in cellular support version, so for the WiFi only version is purely depends on the local authorize re-seller you approach willing to award the warranty for your purchase or not. I've been told there're local authorize re-sellers willing to award the warranty as long as it's a genuine product.
In order to prevent any unnecessary dispute, i will simply declare the iPad i am selling here is not cover by international warranty. If happen the re-seller you approach willing to award the warranty then it's a plus for you.
P/S: My personal point of view regarding the warranty thing is, how many of the products you bought actually get to execute a warranty claim within one year, given the fact that it's a limited warranty (check apple's website for more info), those common problem like damaged (crack) screen is not cover under the one year limited warranty, unless you have an apple care plus.
Hope this clear things up for you.
**Updated**
Been confirm with multiple auth reseller in both JB and Melaka, there is no issue with Warranty, as long as the product is authentic, it will cover with Apple 1 year limited warranty.
