I think game devs will still be making games for current gen for another 1-2 years before finally phasing out. Only problem with FIFA on current gen is that the game modes are often sluggish (too many interface/animation) causing the system to stutter, based on my experience with FIFA14 on the PS3. Took me only 3 months to ditch it and get the PS4 instead.

PS3 is fine, you can play alot of backlog games, especially famous ones. But I guess it all boils down to your budget. If you have no budget restrictions, next gen is way to go 

I was an early adopter for the PS4, both graphics and lagging issues FIFA career mode, so I thought why not?

Now should be going for 12xx-13xx? Way cheaper than what I paid for back in 2013. You can always buy a second hand FIFA15, it's way cheaper than buying a new one 

I similar with bro andrewtho as early adapter for PS4. But for me its different. My wife bought PS4 + FIFA 14 as present last time because she know I like to play FIFA so much.

Last time she gave me PS3 + FIFA12 as wedding gift mia   


PS4 DualShock 4 controller is different from PS3 Dualshock 3 controller. so its not usable on PS3.

Best EPL striker is Aguero ..cheap option is Sturridge (but i dont reallly like him)

Pace and dribbling are the two stats that really stand out in this game. So having fast players usually work to your advantage. Youre playing FUT or normal seasons? You will adapt to the game mechanics when you play more ...FUT keepers are shit ...but in seasons they are much better.

If youre building a team, i would suggest building around Doumbia (Sweat)

tips for those who're playing on World Class/Legendary/Ultimate difficulty

- don't rush your play - on high difficulty, if you went for speed the CPU will always catch up with you, no matter what (unless your player pace is 90+ & have good strength too). Just pass around & wait for an opening

- the CPU will spam passing, using analog sprint & switching the ball around the pitch. Same as attacking, you will need to be patient with defending too, don't just push the standing tackle button recklessly

- the most important thing - be confident. The CPU can overwhelming at times, but have faith in your play strength & speed. If you absolutely must score a goal - be it to evade a draw or defeat - then take on the defense, dribble the hell out of them (although on high difficulty, they defend like god at times )
