Anyone here has a spare NH-C14 lying around? Going to be switching my Ncase M1 build back to air cooling, can't afford the time to maintain my custom loop any more.

Evaluating building a NAS case for home use, and fill it with anywhere between 2-4 WD Red 3.5" drives. Anyone can recommend a Chinese case (taobao/aliexpress) for that use? I'm aware I can use a NUC-like machine and multiple hard drive enclosures, but that'd be a bit messier.

This reminds me of the FT03 Mini, but taking the opposite approach to design. Any thoughts on cooling performance? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ivannc...ormance-pc-case

QUOTE(hirota @ Nov 28 2020, 03:07 PM) Hi all Itx sifu, currently using nr200p with side tempered glass and aio radiator at the bottom, now I bought a 3070 gpu, last night did some testing found the card temperature up to 78c with the vertical riser, so now I’m thinking to change air cooler and don’t want to use the gpu riser, what is the best air cooler for nr200? Try checking how much cooler the GPU is with the tempered glass side removed - expect the temps to be close to that if you have 2x120 fans for intake at the bottom of the case.Edited: Ok found it, fuma 2! The "Machines and More" channel has a lot of test setups for cooling with NR200/NR200P. He did a comparison of the U12A vs Fuma 2 here (C14S too but that doesn't work with tempered glass): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSUK7p9qQnU |

QUOTE(hirota @ Nov 29 2020, 03:23 PM) thanks for the link, going to watch it later Which motherboard are you also using? If you're on Ryzen, the Gigabyte and MSI B550/X570 boards restrict a lot of airflow options in many ITX cases due to the AM4 socket being too high on the board, blocking the use of top 120mm fans above the cooler (the video I linked earlier demonstrates that as well).yesterday spent 4 hours to upgrade PSU, change the AIO radiator to side, GPU to bottom, ordered 2pcs of noctua 12x15 fans... and swap out the tempered glass with vented panel... now my gpu max 70c I'm not a fan of most ITX cases using TG anyway. The cooling performance and flexibility is so much better with mesh side panels. Sounds like you're using a 3-slot GPU - which model in particular are you using? QUOTE(hirota @ Nov 29 2020, 07:29 PM) im using auros x570i mobo, my gpu 2.5 slots, yesterday i tested put the Noctua S12A fan in the bottom but it hitting the GPU, then so happened i found there's sales in lazada for Noctua 12x15 fan, RM188.5 for 2pcs after discounted, so quickly placed order. Ah, with air cooling, you're gonna have to sacrifice at least 1 top mounted fan for exhaust. Less ideal that way. For air cooling, the Asus and Asrock ITX boards are far better in the NR200 and similar ITX tower designs.another reason why i prefer TG because i bought a 5 inch screen, was thinking to put the little screen to show some temperature, something like this ![]() |

Looks like a real NZXT H1 killer is coming. Fits 280mm AIOs so CPU thermals can also be NR200 level, without the GPU suffocated by high temps like the H1. Price seems to start at US$120 too: https://ssupd.com/products/meshlicious This post has been edited by yimingwuzere: Dec 29 2020, 09:47 AM |

How do you guys pack your desktop as check-in luggage before a flight? Trying to figure out how to bring my PC without having baggage handlers break it.

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Apr 4 2022, 05:25 PM) This is really a good case, small and solid. just some thing need to look at la is if u install sata drive, that place will be kinda cramped because it is situated below the PSU, and like the cable pressing on it when u close the casing lol but sata drive is ssd type so no issue la no moving parts, and the ssd casing very solid also. 320mm card no issue slotting in. I think next i might want to do is to get customized cable with shorter length and the PCIE cable, dunno why they dont supply single 6+2pin, they give 2 head and really kacau la. SATA cable also 1 enuf, they put 3 or 4 in 1... I have the EK 240 Basic in a Ncase M1 and the CPU block tubing position is worse off there. Sandwich layout cases aren't as badly affected. A bigger concern would be whether it fits his mobo if he's using LGA1700.Another is i felt like the water hose for EKWB seems like maybe need better position the cpu block.. dont know if the angle will broke the hose or not.. but i see ppl install also like tat |

I'm fairly interested in seeing if the A4 H2O can fit a deshrouded 3080 Holo + 2 Phanteks T30 fans. Currently using that setup in a Ncase M1 and it has maybe 1-2mm extra clearance at best.

Is there enough room in the A4 H20 to fit Phanteks T30 fans on a deshrouded Zotac 3080 Holo?

QUOTE(Benefon @ Aug 3 2022, 04:37 PM) Standard 2.5 slots size only. I was kinda thinking of deshrouding the card completely and strap the T30 fans to the GPU heatsink using zip ties. So the fans will be on the inside of the side panel. Can’t fit any fan on side panel, there is no extra room I done extra fans for Lian li a4-h20 ![]() Reckon there's space for that? The Ncase M1 I have is a perfect fit for the card right now. Wonder if there's more room. |

QUOTE(Benefon @ Aug 5 2022, 06:29 AM) A4-H20 max 3 slots GPU size. The plan is to actually remove the Zotac fans and fan shroud completely, then strap 2 T30 fans onto it. The idea is that I can either do a quieter GPU at the same temps, or better cooling. Zotac 3080 Trinity and Holo has rather high noise past 70% fan speed, whereas the T30 is quite decent at 2000rpm.58mm enough for 2 slot gpu size and top up 15mm slim fan. My Zotac rtx 2080 Ti was 2.5 slots size. Can’t put any fan on internal side. Benefit like gpu temp drop few degree and GPU fans won’t work harder than before and GPU fan noise reduce few DB level |
