thanks mate. biggrin.gif

nope,  have to buy it ourselves and sfx psu (125mm× 63.5mm × 100mm) is the only form factor officially recommended. but i saw a guy from HK forum manage to fit in a standard size psu with some work.

it can fit in 3 hdds, but only support 2x 2.5" and 1x 3.5"  unsure.gif

Aftar looong overdue finally I manage to get all parts for my SFF rig rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

Other parts from my current rig, new items just casing & PSU.

After 2 hours+, this is how the inside looks, I remove unused SSD & optical drive bracket, to ease up cable management.
Not the best cable management though tongue.gif

The other side.

Comparing to my previous casing, half the width, little shorter.

Idle temp. Good enough I guess. hmm.gif

Currently still using stock cooler, and the fan can be very noisy on heavy load.

Height limitation is 58mm, I am looking for Silverstone AR06 on the day I get the casing and PSU, but didnt manage to found it.

Any other recommendation?

awesome build bro thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

seems like the ML08 have a bit more room to work with compared to my Node 202 sweat.gif

myself using stock cooler too, and been thinking of changing for an aftermarket one as well

went through some reviews, quite a number suggested the Cryorig C7 over the highly popular Noctua NH-L9i for SFF builds

Hehe tq2.

Hv been eyeing for Cyorig C7 too, Argon AR06 got to little clearance and mounting is not that good IMO.

Some updates for my ML-08 build,

I ve changed PSU and CPU cooler, so manage to do re-cable management.

user posted image

PSU changed from ST45SF-G to SX650-G. It come with flat black cable, thus easier for cable management, also less noise due to larger fan thumbup.gif

Front header and audio cable can be routed below PSU, got some space there. Audio cable can hide behind PCI-E bracket.

I ve to re-route the thick USB 3.0 cable to the back to make it less bulky at the front.

Thats it. Anyone looking to build SFF system I highly recommend this casing thumbup.gif

nice update flex.gif

having the option to slot in a 3.5" drive is really a big advantage, unlike my Node 202 which is restricted to 2x 2.5" drive only cry.gif

my current storage is a Kingston UV400 120GB SSD as boot drive, and a HGST 7200rpm 1TB 2.5" HDD for storage sweat.gif

Yup, thats one of the reason I choose ML-08 over Node 202.

even in current condition of me having a mini sized GPU there (an EVGA GTX1060 3GB) still some mod needed in order to get a 3.5" drive in there

but having said that, the bundled PSU (Fractal Design own brand one) only have 2x SATA power lol

so my future upgrade path would be upgrading to a mobo that has a M.2 slot (for boot drive), keeping my 1TB 7200rpm drive strictly for game/Steam library and add in another 2TB 5400rpm 2.5" drive for mass storage (photos, videos, music etc)

I might consider this build for my next upgrade/build brows.gif
