Hi guys, I'm thinking of building an ITX using the Node 202.

What's a good CPU cooler for that case if I'm going with an AMD build?

It looks huge but it's only 12L which boggles my mind.

At that volume, it's definitely SFF (<20L).

Mind sharing your part list and where you got the case?

Does this use an SFX PSU, flex atx PSU or does it need a power brick like laptop?

How are you going to get your hands on those?

I'm just starting my SFF journey and I think I'm gonna get the Node 202 because of how easily available it is and it uses a normal SFX.

Smaller cases that use SFX PSUs like what you mentioned are just not easy to come by here, unless there's something I'm missing.

Also, I'm looking at the Silverstone ML09 too but those are nowhere to be found.

I need to travel for work and I'll be there for a while so I'm thinking of building an SFF to bring along with me.

What case should I build in if I want to hand carry it? I'm thinking the GEEEK A50, knowing that its smaller in volume than the Node 202 although it is made of plastic and I might crack the acrylic window while traveling.

That case looks great and I have taken a look at it before but flex psus make me nervous mostly because I dont know much about them and I dont see them listed in any store's pricelist.

Do you have any tips on how to make sure I get a good flex psu model?

When compared to the K39 and the K55, would you still recommend the metal fish S3?
They are about the same volume.

Any reason to go for Greek a50 over the k55?

They look about the same size and build quality.

How do you like the case 6 months down the road?

I cant tell, the GPU fan is louder.

For those that want a minimalist wifi antenna and dont like the obnoxious shark fin that comes with the board, read on

These arrived from Taobao today:


Tested all of them against a wired connection. I found that among the antennas, the 90 degree ones were much better than the straight ones for wifi connectivity.


In the end chose to use this one


Main purpose is to boost BT signals though, and all of them functioned well.
Now I can use the PS4 controller while playing on the PC at a longer distance.

Yeah, a lot of users have that case because of the low price.
You can do a search to take a look at the different specs and builds.

CPU fan and GPU fan are quiet, I've undervolted to reduce thermals. I'm using a noctua 90mm fan for the CPU cooler.

PSU fan is silent. Usually people swap out with noctua 40mm fans because theirs is loud. Mine isn't.

The PCH fan is the loudest fan in the build. Need to update bios to get the option of controlling the fan speed.

Building in this case was a breeze, and the cables definitely helped. I usually spend too much time getting cable management right and didn't have to fuss too much about this build.

Id say that the k55 is a better option if you're looking for GPUs other than the 1660TI. There weren't many sub 180mm GPUs on sale when I was putting mine together. I believe I bought the last brand new 2070 mini in the country, most of the mini itx cards are the 1660 series.
