Noctua NH-L9 or L12 series or Thermalright AXP-200 Muscle. Both Brand also good quality, I used TR Venomous X and Tr Cogage MST140 bfr. if stock cooling sufficient then just stick with it unless you need higher tdp h/s.

I'm hoping to try an SFF build and need suggestions, what would be a good looking case within rm300 budget? Wouldnt mind to go a little bit extra if worth the extra fancy look.

would you prefer boxy look or more flat/HTPC looking?

btw what kind of hardware you're planning to put in the system? main purpose of the PC?

fractal design node 202 is quite nice also. console alike when put vertical. u need to start from mobo first. itx or matx size. then choose case.

Some updates for my ML-08 build,

I ve changed PSU and CPU cooler, so manage to do re-cable management.



PSU changed from ST45SF-G to SX650-G. It come with flat black cable, thus easier for cable management, also less noise due to larger fan



Front header and audio cable can be routed below PSU, got some space there. Audio cable can hide behind PCI-E bracket.



I ve to re-route the thick USB 3.0 cable to the back to make it less bulky at the front.

having the option to slot in a 3.5" drive is really a big advantage, unlike my Node 202 which is restricted to 2x 2.5" drive only

my current storage is a Kingston UV400 120GB SSD as boot drive, and a HGST 7200rpm 1TB 2.5" HDD for storage

Yup, thats one of the reason I choose ML-08 over Node 202.

Hoping for it to be a gaming pc, prefer boxy look and mobo to be lay flat.

Any suggestions?

those that came across my mind were the Fractal Design Node 202 and Silverstone Raven RVZ02 or ML-08

for better storage option I'd recommend RVZ02 or ML08, since Node 202 (the one I'm using now) only have compartment for 2x 2.5" drives only
