I'm trying to connect to Xbox Live using my 3G connection. I can download the maketplace contents. But I have some problem with my NAT setting. Currently the status of the NAT is "strict" which means I can only connected to those who are "Open". I've googled the web and found the setting (port forwarding) but it is for routers that is connected to ADSL modem. have anyone come across the setting on 3G phones. I hope i can forward the ports since my Xbox Live and P2P is having some problem because of the NAT problem.

u must be miss it up something if celcom going to charge u thought..
i'm using celcom 3G unlimited package currently...
celcom only charged me RM88 monthly. smile.gif
no problem for xblive connections, it can download the content via 3G.. rclxm9.gif

quoted from mypdacafe.com

1. Unlimited access means unlimited data usage, for browsing, downloading, streaming, FTP access, P2P file sharing, VPN access, etc.

2. 3G Unlimited package includes all data traffic transmitting and receiving from either 3G or GSM (GPRS) sites. No additional charges if your connection falls back to GPRS.

3. Unlimited package means you enjoy free access to Internet sites, except downloads from provider's WAP portal.

If you access from your phone (use phone as a modem), dial *99# or *99***1# or *99***3# (for motorola) to direct your connection to packet network. If you dial local access number or other short code, you're accessing Internet using GSM (CSD) network. 3G Unlimited only covers data access via packet network (GPRS, 3G) or HSDPA during trial period.

No matter which telco you're subscribed to, the mechanics are in fact the same. Do not assume once you've signed up for Unlimited Data Plan, immedately after you signed and submitted the form, your Unlimited account is activated. It might take days or weeks, depending on your account credit limit or your outstanding balance before they can active Unlimited service for you.

So before you enjoy using the service, give them a call, to their customer service consultant, to check if your Unlimited Data Package has already been activated. That's the only way to save yourself out of trouble

Really? Just called the celcom careline..and they said that the unlimited access is only valid for data access but not downloading which is data bytes-dependant. Good for you if they just charge u RM88 per month without any additional charges, but I just want others to be cautious here, and my advise for them to reconfirm with the celcom careline..if the unlimites features cover both BROWSING and DOWNLOADING... correct me if I'm wrong here

izaman.....its not my intention to scare u...but anything that u download is charged according to the bytes sizes....even if it is an attachment of your e-mail..... I advise you to reconfirm it with the celcom careline, as I don want u to go throgh the same experience that I've been through before which made me terminating the unlimited subscription....

confirm. nothing bad happen. although my bill extraordicary high (RM280), everything is justified:

RM80 - minutes plan
RM99 - activation
RM99 - for unlimited plan
