My greatest disappointment with Jurassic Park sets is that:-
1) No original grey and red jeep wrangler from the original movie
2) Jurassic Park entrance doorway with the Ford Explorer in original livery
3) T-rex versus Raptor final battle in the main building

Also looks like Lego just took the old Dino theme Triceratops holding vehicle, modify it for the T-rex. Also just reuse a unimog design for the raptor set (of course, it may be argued that the new movie will have a unimog, who knows).

Jurassic world sets I'll wait till got discount. At the moment they are simply too expensive for a 'repaint' of the previous dinosaur molds and with a Jurassic park license. The color scheme is not even the original Jurassic park. The albino Dino base is worst, it is actually a triangle but the box art make it look like it is a square base.

Any chance this sets will flop like prince of Persia? Prince of Persia last time some sets were horribly expensive as well.

Technic sets will always have better value since you can build 2 models in 1 set and some of the power functions, pneumatic and actuators cost alot. Even better since most technics are not exclusive so can get them at stores other than LCS or TRU. When not exclusive high chance of discount. Like recently got the artic truck from impulse during their may first sale. Most of my technic I buy when got discount.

The easiest is just get the Volvo wheel loader set. It comes with 2 IR receiver, 2 IR remotes, 1 XL motor, 1 M motor, 1 L motor and 1 servo motor.
