I only collect certain arcs... This will be one of them. Am waiting for the tpb also as I only read the digital version 😁.
Missed the Funhouse Escape cause was contemplating too long... Should have just Buy First and Regret (maybe) Later haha
Thanks for the info. Will go look for the review. 👍
*
I was reading digital versions too. Then started buying New 52 Batman tpb after hearing good reviews. So far I liked the Court Of Owls and Death Of The Family stories. Not so much for Zero Year. Of course waiting for Endgame to be released. May skip volume 6 as it's loose issues and stories.

Me too. May get a whole set. Previously just got the ones I liked or those with parts that I wanted for my photography.

LEGO has revealed the exclusive Zombie Skateboarder minifigure that will be included in the upcoming DK book, LEGO: I Love That Minifigure. The minifigure is pretty much a combination of the Skater minifigure from the Series 1 Collectible Minifigures with a new zombie head and some tattered jeans - See more at: http://www.thebrickfan.com/#sthash.RMuBSF6A.dpuf

This and the upcoming CMF series will go well with horror and Haunted House theme.

OT: just catching up with Walking Dead Season 5 during my medical

Btw, how long before LCS bring in "Ideas" sets after USA release? Thinking of getting the Big Bang Theory set.

is that a good price or not?

I think retail should be near that price. Price in US is USD $ 59.99 if I remember correctly.

Also read LCS stock should be in by mid-August.

Hey all,

Just recently rekindled my childhood interest in lego after a very long absence. Started earlier this year when I bought my kid the 60044: Mobile Police Unit. We had fun building it together and started building more and more. Now there's a bunch of bricks and pieces in a huge bin in my kid's room.

Just wanna know how do you guys keep the lego elements, and if so how do you sort it? Do you have like plastic drawers or do you leave them on display?
*
I bought these "shoe boxes" from Daiso. They take up some space but I don't have to dismantle too much. They work great for most vehicles and smaller sets. Some needs dismantling example rotors of the Joker helicopter or the rear "fins" of the Batmobile.

The bottom box was the Batcave set and had no choice but to dismantle as they're tall structures.

I did consider those Daiso boxes since they're quite cheap, around RM5 per box I think. But then I saw those clear plastic drawers at Aeon Big, it looked easier to sort and retrieve parts since its a drawer. Bought 2, brought it home, sorted all the loose parts according to color and voila!

The drawer for grey parts is filling up pretty fast  tongue.gif
*
True. If you're digging for parts, a deep box doesn't make sense and the drawers will be much better.

There's another tumbler besides 76023?! And here I thought the UCS was the most iconic.
*
It was from the "Dark Knight" movie theme. I skipped it when it was released and regretted it. Was hunting for it and that's when I started collecting LEGO.

Prices have shot sky high now

I also want to spam old pic. Custom Tumbler and Batpod which I bought.

What I didn't like about the 7888 Tumbler was I felt it was too big for the minifigure (not in scale). I like the look of this custom but unfortunately only seats 1 minifig.

In the quest for Arkham Breakout set. Is it worth to find this set, or wait for Lego to make a better one.

The reason I am holding back is cause Lego Star Wars Sith Infiltrator has been release for 3 times already.
*
This is the 2nd Arkham set that has been released by LEGO. It's hard to tell if there will be another one released.

It seems to me Batman is a good license (money maker) and there may be a new Arkham set released in future. I'm not sure if LEGO has no confidence in other DC characters but almost all of the Justice League sets released this year comes included with a Batman minifig. Or it could just be Batman simply sells!

By comparison, I noticed Man Of Steel sets didn't do so well and sometimes can still find the sets on the shelves. Or maybe people just didn't like the design/vehicles of these sets. Personally I only bought 1 out of the 3 released.

Batman is one of the most beloved and popular DC characters with at least 7 movies (Michael Douglas - Christian Bale) throughout his 75 year history. Compared to only about 5 Superman (Christopher Reeves - Henry Cavill) movies.

I believe that will change once Batman v Superman movie is released. The rumored 2016 LEGO list shows 5 sets from this license. And I believe these are going to sell.

I thought the Ironman and The Hulk is good selling sets as well, no? Of course, Superman is the worst, I can see Spiderman is not so fast selling as well, still can see bunch of them in the store usually.

Of course, BATMAN is the best... but recent release of Batman sets, I am little bit of disappointed with the transportation.

Maybe it's because of the vehicles. Or maybe I'm not into Justice League, I skipped the sets and got the minifigures instead.

Will wait for this and the other Batman v Superman sets next year.

Also from the same Eurobrick forum, dang we might get another batcave, but it will be the 60s live action series one. There is also a huge hint from the tiger lady of Minifig series 14 as it has potential to be the 60s Catwoman.
*
If from 60s Batman, I think I will pass. Depending on parts and design, i may consider combining with the last Batcave.

My 2 complaints about the previous Batcave I got were:
A) the Batcave is too small. I wish it was bigger
B) one of the most important person was missing, which is Alfred

is it the one with Bane and his drill machine ?

This set i will also wait and see, if they don't throw in the iconic batmobile i too shall give it a pass.
*
Correct. The Batcave with Bane and Poison Ivy and that drill excavator. Don't know why they didn't remake the Alfred minifigure.

If only the Batman v Superman theme will have a new Batcave with Alfred.

On another note, I think I have passed the point of no return. Oh my, what have I done? 😅

*
I stopped getting 2015 sets and just got the minifigs. 1st because I already have too many vehicles from the 2013 Batman sets and he's my main focus.

Also I prefer the movie version, especially The Dark Knight trilogy so I got custom vehicles.

Yeah. I also have Transformers which I stopped after the 1st movie. Also got some reissues and MP but of OP and Megatron only.

Think hard to sell off now? Maybe I'll just keep them.
