Accidentally bought an extra Brick Bounty. That is what happens when you write down a shopping list and leave the list at home because you were too excited with LEGO. Will keep it for my nephews.

Horree sheet! LEGO Dimensions Ghostbusters sets shown on Gamescom. I've got no interest in the game, but the minifigs such as Peter Venkman (new hairpiece), Stay Puft and Slimer look enticing.

hi sorry newbie here.
may i know where can i buy lego with cheaper price?

i found that malaysia lego are way too expensive.

for example, i looking at lego 21116, amazon sell at  usd 40, which is about rm160

http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Minecraft-21116...&keywords=21116

but those shop at mid valley sell at rm289.
*
Here are some tips:

1. Wait for sales.
2. Use forwarding service like ezpos or something (can't remember the name)
3. Ask a friend to buy and send it to you
4. Earn more money and curse the exchange rate

thanks,will keep looking.
my income is 300K PA but just dont feel like want to pay double the price compare with us.

Good for you that you are earning that much. Come I clap for you. rclxms.gif

The problem is that Malaysia is importing all LEGO. Our inefficient market + logistics are making all of us pay higher prices than most countries.

However, prices are actually getting better compared to 2-3 years ago, when LEGO was still not so popular among Malaysian adults.

The recent mushrooming of LEGO certified stores and LEGO trading coming into Malaysia has made prices somewhat comparable with the overseas market. Also, note that US prices are before sales tax and Amazon prices are usually discounted.

In Malaysia, due to the inefficient pricing and lack of consumer awareness, prices are still quite high but the trends are changing due to increase competition.

In short, be a smart consumer. There will always be offers coming around.

Woah... completing this seems like a lifetime. Took me more than 4 months (very busy) of micro-time and keeps redesigning over and over again to ensure all 3 modes looks good.

Well...will post more photos soon when I'm done shooting them. In the meantime..

Amazing! I always look forward to your MOCs and puns. Mostly your puns. If you can work in a pun in your MOC, it will make my day.

If you like buildings, the modular series is a good start. If you prefer real-life buildings at a smaller scale, the architecture series may be suitable, but not much of a build. There is also the Creator series where currently you can get the Sydney Opera House or Tower Bridge.

For technics and race cars, there is the current Le Mans race car which has been shown to be a favorite among fans.

Every penultimate Monday of July, the city of Ulm will be in celebration of Schwörmontag. The festival will include the river parade, colloquially "Nabada", local dialect which means something like "Let's go bathe" or "play water" or something.

The local LUG, Klötzlebauer and a toy store will always display a diorama of the event. Here are some pictures.

heloo morning..
just want to know is there a high changes of getting modular set in euro LCS?
cuz my cousin is depart to Paris tonite..
maybe request him to buy me cinema set in LCS Paris.

The only store near Paris is the Disneyland store. It is a 45 min train ride from central Paris.

If your cousin happens to be going to Disneyland, then it's fine, but it is not that convenient because other than Disneyland, there is nothing there to see.

The modulars are all available but it's better to call up front. As far as I know, only the Pet shop is not on shelves, only online.

Edit: Sorry, there is another one north of Paris which is nearer. Try there.

The Ulm Cathedral (Ulmer Münster) is now 125 years old. It is currently the tallest church in the world.

To celebrate that occasion, naturally a LEGO model has to be built.

Here are some pictures and a video I took.

If I don't already have the Millennium Falcon 7965, the only set that I would get is the new MF. Just because it is such an iconic vehicle in the SW universe.

Just got my set of CMF14 Halloween minifigs from my favorite toy store via the "feel" method. I've come to really get the hang of it since I first started with the Simpsons Series 1. That time I was still a rookie and had 2 duplicates.

After that, all my purchases were 100% on track.

I spent close to 45 minutes for this set. Here are my tips.

1. Wolf Guy: Feel for the bone. Shake the bag to find the bone and then verify both ends to make sure it is the same. The bone is longer than you think.

2. Pirate: The sword is a dead giveaway. But some beginners might not know how it feels. If you can find the beard part which feels like a small ring, you're spot on. Also the hat can be easily felt.

3. Scientist: I found the beaker to be the easiest to identify. Feel for the round part, verify the neck. If you have Prof Frink's beaker, you can practice that at home. Don't get confused with the pumpkin.

4. Witch: Those familiar with the cat piece can feel for the cat. I find it easier to find the broom piece. Feel the end to make sure it is not the bone.

5. Plant monster: The head piece is the one to feel for. It is large and will have a large opening. Move your finger into the opening and follow the shape to make sure it is the one you're looking for. Don't get confused with the Tiger lady's hairpiece (it's way smaller) or the spectre's hood (also smaller).

6. Fly Monster: I find the easiest is to look for the head. The antennae are the features you need to look out for.

7. Spectre: Look for the leg piece. If you are not familiar with the piece, (like I was), feel for the chains. They are unique to the series. Then try to get a feel for the leg piece so that you can later identify the banshee.

8. Cheerleader: Feel for the pom poms. Rub your finger a bit on them to feel the rough texture. Find another one to confirm. Also, they are not completely spherical so feel for the openings.

9. Tiger woman: Most guides say to feel for the whip. The whip is quite thin and can get stuck in the instructions. Try to feel for the head piece. It has 2 ears and the hair curls up a the back.

10. Gargoyle: Feel for the short legs. That's it. To verify, this is a trick I do. Find a leg piece and feel for the 2 studs that go into the torso. Then try to bend the legs.

11. Skeleton guy: Look for the pumpkin. It is smooth and round. The top has a larger opening than the bottom. Or you can try to find the handle piece. Shake the bag to let it fall and if you find the handle piece, you're golden.

12. Monster rocker: The guitar is what you should feel for. But may be confused with the broom. I found mine by feeling for the head piece. It feels like the pirate beard part, but larger and has a rough flat top.

13. Zombie businessman: The 2x2 tile is the dead giveaway. But sometimes the tile might be stuck in the booklet. I felt for mine be finding the briefcase. It is very easy to identify.

14. Banshee: Like the spectre, feel for the legs. Than go for the hairpiece. The hairpiece is fairly large and rough.

15. Square foot: I found it easiest by feeling for the camera. The camera's handle is bent at an angle and has a stud in front. Very unique piece. The head piece can be felt to verify.

16. Spider lady: Look for the slope skirt piece and you're golden. Easiest fig to identify.

You manage to grab the seat huh.
I heard within 20 minutes from open registration the seats all taken up already.

Cancel!!  shocking.gif That is really wasted, can refund or transfer name?

I was literally refreshing in front of my PC to get the seat.

I cancelled early February so no penalties.

Really bummed out, but well life throws you curveballs sometimes. No big deal.

I will definitely have this tour on my bucket list.
