3. Don't buy a Rolex just because it is a Rolex
4. Buy what you like
5. Just buy a pre-owned 16600 Sea Dweller and live happily ever after
6. Disregard 2-6 and refer back to 1

you can buy what you like but these are the popular ones. and usually popular ones fits most ppl's criteria and popularity. so you don't get  "yuck" why you buy that watch. easier to sell later, if you need money.

They're Not AD. Kinda impossible to get sports models from AD nowadays. Wing wah is legit. Its just their premium is on the high side. Can try hang Thai as well.

Honestly, it's not really shortages la.

I've seen cases where people offer to buy a couple of watches from the AD and they are willing to source popular sports models for the customers.

See how close you are with the AD, how lucky you are to get your number called and most importantly, how much dough you are willing to drop.

63.8k for a deepsea is super premium price. Just be patient, you will find a piece below that. I have seen deepsea few times in changi airport, just my wrist is too small for that piece thus i ignored it
