Have u sold this?
If u haven't, how much are u willing to let go?
Thanks

QUOTE(r3kahsttub @ Aug 26 2015, 11:22 AM)
Have decided to let this go; am playing with the idea of a 16610 instead. Call it silly, but I do prefer a Sub with green lume over blue. Am I the only one who thinks this way?

I intend to buy a rolex. Can u please make recommendation as regards to the model that I should look for, whether worth it to buy preowned? (budget between rm10,000 to rm30,000). Thank you.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Nov 16 2015, 07:33 PM)

Making the usual mistakes; honestly - just buy what you like. How do you know what you like? Easy. Walk into any Rolex AD and browse the watches they have on display. Datejust? Explorer? Submariner? Sky Dweller? Yacht Master? Nobody knows what you like, only you.

Your budget allows you to buy some models brand new, so I think it is worth your time stepping into a store to find out more.

I'll have a look at 16600 sea dweller. What is the market price for preowned 16600 sea dweller?

QUOTE(ck77 @ Dec 15 2015, 02:17 PM)
Found the following useful tips (I edited some) from another fora,

1. Think for yoruself and decide
2. Any 2 tones or gold Rolex is ridiculous if you are below 50 yo
3. Don't buy a Rolex just because it is a Rolex
4. Buy what you like
5. Just buy a pre-owned 16600 Sea Dweller and live happily ever after
6. Disregard 2-6 and refer back to 1

Thanks for the tips.

QUOTE(nonexno @ Dec 15 2015, 03:01 PM)
the usual suspects.

gmt - black or blue
submariner - date, black or green
milgauss

you can buy what you like but these are the popular ones. and usually popular ones fits most ppl's criteria and popularity. so you don't get  "yuck" why you buy that watch. easier to sell later, if you need money.

QUOTE(incubus_skj @ Oct 3 2018, 05:18 PM)
what's your preference? sports? classic? steel? semigold?

if want follow the trend, just get a Sub / GMT and call it a day

Is it safe enough to buy from wingwah? I mean he is not authorised rolex retailer, is he?

I’m afraid of not getting the original.

QUOTE(interestingsht @ Oct 6 2018, 02:02 AM)
Wingwah got new stock. 63.8k

Thanks. But i feel that this shortage of stock problem is merely temporary.

QUOTE(chiahau @ Oct 7 2018, 01:16 PM)
He's been in the game for so many years.

Just that his price is ridiculous for those who can't stomach the premium.

Seems from the utube that this peoblem is global

QUOTE(interestingsht @ Oct 7 2018, 01:16 PM)
They're Not AD. Kinda impossible to get sports models from AD nowadays. Wing wah is legit. Its just their premium is on the high side. Can try hang Thai as well.

Whom should I contact and which AD?

QUOTE(chiahau @ Oct 7 2018, 09:54 PM)
Honestly, it's not really shortages la.

I've seen cases where people offer to buy a couple of watches from the AD and they are willing to source popular sports models for the customers.

See how close you are with the AD, how lucky you are to get your number called and most importantly, how much dough you are willing to drop.

Do u still remember the price at that time? What year was that?

QUOTE(St. Teh @ Oct 8 2018, 10:31 AM)
63.8k for a deepsea is super premium price. Just be patient, you will find a piece below that. I have seen deepsea few times in changi airport, just my wrist is too small for that piece thus i ignored it
