Got my very first Rolex from a boutique overseas, Model 336238-0003. After tax refund, still paid 5% extra premium. Our currency is so weak.

U find it too heavy for daily wear? I’ve got one but find it too top heavy for daily wear…(although it’s a beaut..)

Plus this model is dem ultra blingy to walk around…

Ofcourse I don’t wear it daily as I also got other watches to wear. TBH it’s not comfortable not because of the weight but is the Oysterflex strap is not comfortable or may be I’m not used to it.

Actually I had a bigger watch than SD, the “AP honey”. That is heavier but much comfortable than SD

what's the best payment method for AD like Swiss Watch Gallery, Cortina, Sincere etc? Any credit card offering 0% interest etc? lol

Sincere is now under Cortina if I am not wrong.

I have two ADs from Cortina and Hour Glass; both offer 0% installment plans. I'm not very sure which credit card is required since I have never used an installment plan before, but they did offer it to me.

I got a new watch from Bucherer London and learned that Bucherer is owned by Rolex. It took me an hour to convince the AD I'm a collector so they would sell it to me.

The Rolex M126655-0005 was initially just for display.

The bad news is there's no tax refund in the UK

You don’t feel the pain when you love the watch! Haha. I’d say it’s truly worth it, one of the most beautiful pieces in my collection.

The secret to getting a Rolex or Patek Philippe is to show sincerity by supporting other brands. This is how the AD game works in Malaysia. I’ve been offered watches quite often, including the Daytona and even Patek Philippe models. I’ve collected quite a lot. If you have no purchase history, your best bet is to go through a reseller.
