Jack128 got mine grey. PM me if you are keen. There are only a few ADs who will get back to you, but none of them in the Klang Valley. If you insist on AD stock, just need to keep popping in and hovering. That, or you have a "regular" salesperson (whom you keep bugging on Whatsapp) who can give you a heads up.

Mind me PM the price pls? Batman has been one of my target but unfortunately it is hard to get.

I visit at AD recently and Batman was selling at retail price RM35k and RM48k for Daytona 2016. Price was attractive (RRP for Rolex sport model which too good to be true) but the sales personnel mention there was a long lists of clients and can't take on additional client. I believe the AD won't be release the model without premium price.

Some AD even go to extent where without connection, you won't be able to get Rolex sport model. It happen during submariner purchase, one sales personal say no stock when walk in but when text a familiar sales personal, there are ready stock and deal was close at the same shop.

Given up hope on AD and started looking for grey dealer which have the Rolex Sport Model.

mind to share which AD?

When you walk in to any AD in klang valley, they will tell RRP price but there is long waiting lists.
Unless you know the sales personal, you will get the selling price (RRP with premium) for sport model.
By the way, you need to close deal on the spot if available... otherwise, chances of you re-seeing the model is low. As it is a fast grab items.
Happy hunting

For those interest in TUDOR, there is a roadshow at KLCC currently.. surprising the roadshow include the latest baselworld 2017 collection which normally arrive around August.. the 2 tone gold watch is amazing with matte gold and less shining compare to Rolex.Attached Image Attached Image

AD told me that it will take 2 years  rclxub.gif
It is for this precise reason that the grey market can demand an asking price of 40K. They are all at cahoots with each other if you ask me.

The only way to get a "Hot Model" Rolex is through building rapport with your AD sales personnel. Either through purchase watch from the sales personnel previously or friends who have connection. Grey dealer would be your best bet if you want to grab a hold on the watch fast. The AD waiting lists is just a ways to reject client which even they took down your contact, you will never get called. Best of luck in your search.

Eventually settled for the black GMT from KLCC. I gave up on Batman even though that was the much preferred model.

Congrats on ur purchase. Share us some of the pic. Which KLCC sales personnel u deal with?

Wing Wah @ Subang.. Sorry, didn't asked about the offer because I wasn't looking for a batman.

Guess so.. the shop sell watch at ways premium than normal AD. The batman cost almost 41.8k for a new one

Ah, just a regular black GMT. What pics are there to share haha

The person from KLCC I dealt with is called Yen. Rather nice lady compared to the others from Pavilion, BSC and Nu Sentral who didn't even get back to me. I will not consider getting it from grey dealers due to them 'frying' the price. In fact, if nobody gives in to this unfair practice they will be out of business!

Still a lovely watch. Would like to see the watch in action (pic), maybe can consider one in the future.

RRP should be around 48k based on AD. 50k still acceptable pricing compare to 75k quote by some grey dealer.

Just a quick check. Does HK charge any VAT for watches? If yes, how does the refund process work? Travelling to HK soon, plan to window shop some Rolex while at there.

There's no tax in HK. Also there's no SS watches there lol unless it's grey.

Thank for the info. Planning to try luck but would also try out grey as well.
Any grey dealer would you recommend? As there are too many grey dealer even within HK
