QUOTE(GingerNinja @ Jan 14 2015, 05:05 PM) Consider getting pre-owned ones, for 20k you have a lot of option. Submariner, SeaDweller, Explorer 1, Explorer 2, Datejust. Vintage Datejust from 80s starts at 7k. Check out watchlim |

QUOTE(Hearts @ May 28 2015, 04:55 PM) Hi sifu sifu out there, May I know whats a decent price for a pre-owned Rolex Submariner 16610? I'm thinking of getting one for myself and I have been looking at an average pricing of RM18k-20k . Is this decent? Thanks. 16610 is pre-maxi dial yes? You should be able to get them at that price. You can try mudah.my , many 2nd hand dealer shop selling. |

Was in Korea and noticed the Explorer 1 going at 5950USD, that wound be cheap if USD-RM was in the 3.3-3.6 range.

QUOTE(frostfrench @ Mar 2 2016, 04:02 PM) Just read about Germany ADs already started their annual price increase for all their models, most likely Worldwide ADs will start raising soon as well, so if possible get yours asap. Most likely Rolex will tell you that the watch is out of stock as well but actually the watch might be on hold and be on sale again after the price increase, but still. Try your luck and ask around |

New buy
Got it from a member here. Have to say I prefer this over the Red as it's much more easier to match around with clothing and not too flashy. I think that's enough watches for this year What I don't like about the watch though is the lack of an AR, makes it a little hard to see the time at certain angles and under the sun. edit: ooh and finally a member of this club now This post has been edited by Apple_DarreN: Mar 5 2016, 03:31 PM |

QUOTE(xphossis @ Mar 8 2016, 05:40 PM) Thanks mateI'd rather not disclose the amount as it's a little personal for me (i know, i'm crazy) But the price is alright, not too expensive and not too cheap either, just right for a 2nd hand watch. Black Bay Blue doesn't hold its value much, I got it because I preferred this over the red one |

QUOTE(Jason @ Mar 10 2016, 03:35 PM) Actually, I like vintage over a new piece simply because it has character.. because as much money that you have, you can't walk into a Rolex boutique and buy a vintage Rolex, like one with a plastic crystal, or the Sub reds, cause they don't make it anymore. Here's one for sale @ MWF These days, Rolex is such a mass produced luxury good, kinda loses some of the luster around it. I'm more attracted to a Sub red, rather than the latest Sub with ceramic bezel. http://www.malaysiawatchforum.com/index.php?topic=14098.0 Previously there was a Double Red Seadweller @ Mudah for sale, about 130k if not mistaken. The ad has been taken down |

Went to an AD today to have a closer look at the Sub & batman but however all of them are not in stock except for the LN GMT Master2. Took that on the wrist for a quick size test and wow did it fit me perfectly.
I have trouble wearing watches as of my tiny wrist but Rolex's sport model's case size and its proportion is just amazing. I guess I know what to aim for now. #justSharing |
