Finally got "the call" from the Rolex AD this week to pick up the Submariner 124060
Beyond excited, been waiting the better part of 3 years from the 114060 era. In the meantime, been tempted multiple times to pick up from grey dealers but now, glad I didn't. It's really the thrill of the chase. Gorgeous well-proportioned piece vs the previous 11-series and the AR coating on the crystal really brings out the black dial. Well worth the wait. |

I have a 12-series Exp and the AR coating makes a world of difference compared to previous generations. Attached thumbnail(s) blackchides liked this post

QUOTE(pisces88 @ May 7 2022, 01:41 AM) Thanks! First Rolex but not my first watch with the AD. I just bought pieces that I really wanted as part of my collection, regardless of whether I get the Sub, like the Moonwatch and Tag Monaco. And all the while, just mention my interest in the no-date Sub and checking in from time to time.Since mentioning my interest and being told they would put me on the interest list (I actually think this list is a myth lol), I guess it's been 3 years? I'm not the kind who'd buy an expensive watch I don't want (GP, Hublot, etc) or few watches in quick succession just to get a Rolex, so maybe that's why have to wait so long. I also read on other forums that Rolex watches seem to be more available than before (secondary market also softening) so maybe I got "lucky"? |

I feel like getting this DJ41 with jubilee bracelet and fluted... previously i like the smooth face jubilee bracelet fluted bezel but somehow... I feel that going full fluted including its face is the way forward.. So dazzling good luck to me... I'll just wait the call from the AD... me just M40 customer whom just purchased few watches from them throughout my 10 years with them....
