Anyone tried this tires on 18" rims? How is the grip on dry and wet?

achiles is good? i read some review they said the rubber will show sign of tearing, maybe they drive too aggressive

IC... So Achilles will be more noisy and stiff compare to d05 I assume?

planning change my 5 years old tires... size 225/40R18... now thinking about falken ze914 or dunlop d05... just not sure which one better on daily driving and long lasting...

Bought it for rm225 per piece a year ago at weng Heng. Their alignment sux.

Initial stage, everything decent. Could do dry high speed at 160km/h highway cruising not much issue but dry grip start to fade by then. Its good enough for the price paid. I am not expecting Ps3 performance anyway.

Wet grip to me, decent. Somehow wet grip start to fade as Tyre wear. When thread left 50%, aqua planning quite obvious. Again, this is budget tyre. I need to have high concentration while driving during rainy day, especially when I cruise on North-South highway.

For the price paid, now there are hankook ventus 2 concept, Achilles atr sport as alternative. Considering trying other brand soon.

I thought the same. Ended with Achilles. Hopefully another bargaining buy.

Many people question me to take Achilles atr sport over the ventus 2 concept though.
Let hope I will not regret the purchase.

Did 3k km on my tyres. Sidewall is harder than previous conti. I think i will stick to hard sidewalls tyres. Very sweet cornering, more sensitive when maneuver.

Treadwear is 320, in my thinking these tyres can't last real long. I drive everyday average 60km per day.

Good to hear that. If my set of d05 really can last, i can say they are most value for money tyres at premium grade!
