Im using this D05 now on front. My rear tyres are NT8000. D05 side walls are not as firm as NT8k. therefore stability during corner NT8000 is better.
Stability : NT 8000 wins hands down
Aquaplan : D05 is better
Noise: D05 quite noisy (after about 50%), NT8000 one side noisy due to uneven wear.
If i were to choose either one, i will go back to NT8000. Now i want to try Fleva.
Where to find nt8000 nowadays?? My last 4 donuts also using nt8000. After dat, 2 tyre change to achilles, and after awhile another 2 pc to rovelos..after achilles run out i change that 2 tyre to d05..195/55/15. Price 155 a piece exclude GST for 195/55/15. Stability : NT 8000 wins hands down

I agree with nt8000 stability..it was nvr the same after changing to other brands. I always thought that my absorber, or lower arm or alignment or wheel camber got problem but it was just the tyres. Softer side wall really affects cornering performance.
I still hv no comments for d05 performance because i just changed it last weekend and only 2 tyre (front). No chance for hard driving yet.
Might changed the rovelos to d05 later if the sampan feel still there. (i suspect it was from the front achilles tyre as it was the oldest pair). Rovelos also still new. 260 for a pair all in. Dont think much that time. Go for the cheapest 95v rated tyre 😅😅....
Anyway, anyone got any other recommendation for mid range price tyre with stiff side wall? I go for d05 because i read somewhere that the side wall is quite stiff but reading all the comments here make me think otherwise..
